The Man's Decree novel Chapter 936

Chapter 936 Swear

“I have the Luminous Pearl right here. We won the team event,” announced Jared after he got out of the boat and showed everyone the Luminous Pearl he had with him.

Many cheered for Jared’s victory when they saw him there with the Luminous Pearl. They were in Chanaea’s territory, after all, so it’d be incredibly embarrassing if Jetroina’s team had won.

The crowd gathered around Jared and the others as they made their way home. That was when it happened. Jetroina’s representative showed up and barred Jared’s path.

“Hold on. Where is the participant of my country? Where is Mr. Ichiro Watanabe?” demanded the representative loudly.

The representative had a bad feeling, but at that moment, he was still clinging to a glimmer of hope.

Jared shifted his gaze to the representative, then grinned evilly. “Oh, him? He will never return.”

His words extinguished any shred of hope inside the representative’s heart.

“You idiot. How can you kill him?”

The representative’s gaze burned with immense fury.

Jared wasn’t scared at all. The murderous aura within him flared up. He took a step forward and got close to the representative before sharing the truth. “Oh, I have done so much more than killing your precious Ichiro. I also murdered every other person you sent to the island. If you wish to press charges, then, by all means, go ahead. I will welcome it for that will give me an opportunity to expose all of your dirty secrets to the public.”

Jared’s words stunned the representative immediately. The latter’s eyes still burned with rage, but he had no choice. He had to move aside to let Jared go.

Their people started the whole mess by breaking the rules first. Hence, they would just end up embarrassing themselves if they were to press any charges.

Jared and the others left after that. The representative oozed an evil aura as he glared at Jared’s back. At that moment, however, Jared was unaware of the sizeable issue he had made when he killed Ichiro.

Everyone was exhausted, so Theodore let them go to rest as soon as they returned to the Department of Justice. The celebration would have to wait until the next day.
