The Marriage She Turned into War novel Chapter 225

Joanna seemed to be living in her own world, ignoring everything I said.

She sneered at me, then crossed her arms and said mockingly to me, her voice filled with disdain, "Samuel, you're just deceiving yourself. Let me tell you something. Abigail gave Joshua and me the door's passcode. That means she acknowledges Joshua as her lover and me as her future sister-in-law. You're nothing more than an unwanted piece of trash!"

She added, "When it comes to relationships, the one who isn't loved is the real third wheel!"

Joanna's tone was dripping with contempt, as if I were the home wrecker who forced myself into their family.

I cast a cold glance at them, unwilling to waste more time dealing with their nonsense. Just as I was about to return to my room, Joanna called out to me again.

With a frosty expression, she berated, "Samuel, aren't you being a little too disrespectful now? We're still talking to you, yet you're just ignoring us outright. Didn't your parents teach you any manners?"

Faced with her incessant accusations and nitpicking, my mood took a sharp turn for the worse.

I slowly turned around and gave her an icy stare, shaking my head as I replied, "I'm very sure my parents didn't teach me to barge into someone else's home, poke my nose in other's business, and criticize the marital affairs between a married couple."

"Why you…" Her expression darkened immediately. It seemed she did not expect my quip.

She glared at me, seething furiously as she tried to get back at me. However, Joshua held her back, shaking his head calmly.

I glanced at him, finding the entire situation quite pathetic and laughable.

These days, many trending celebrities in the entertainment industry have lost their footing. Only by enriching themselves would they be able to retain their fans' support and continue to thrive.

As for Joshua, his agenda was clear. He had fixated his attention on Abigail, delusionally hoping to marry into wealth.

It would be a miracle if someone like that managed to stay relevant in the entertainment industry.
