The Marriage She Turned into War novel Chapter 371

Abigail crossed her arms and looked at me coldly as she shook her head.

"How come I never realized you were so good at this? You can spit out insults without thinking. Have you been planning to plot against me this whole time?"

She laughed at herself and said, "I guess I wasn't wrong about you after all. You are still as cold-hearted as ever. Nothing seems to get through you."

After saying that, Abigail turned and left without looking back.

Initially, I thought she would see Joshua out of anger and bring him back to upset me, but things didn't turn out as I expected.

Abigail acted as if nothing had happened. She came home on time right after work and even stopped going to parties.

I was surprised by her change and shocked by her coldness.

Her attitude toward Joshua had taken a nosedive in just a few days, as if she were eager to break up with him. It was something a cold-hearted person would do.

I saw Joshua waiting outside the gate many times. He would park his car at the entrance and call Abigail repeatedly in an attempt to confront her.

However, she never went out. Whenever she saw him, she would drive her car away without giving him the chance to talk.

Jane seemed to notice Abigail's change. She smiled at me and said, "Mr. Gebb, Ms. Bardot has been very busy these few days, but she still remembers to come home on time to have a meal with you. Both of you have been arguing a lot lately. Why don't you guys try to reconcile?"
