The Marriage She Turned into War novel Chapter 378

"Ms. Shepherd, goodbye."

After saying that, I turned around quickly and left without looking back. As I walked away, I could feel Blair's gaze following me.

But I resisted the urge to look back because I knew I had already said everything I needed to. The rest was up to time.

Just then, a soft voice called out to me, stopping me in my tracks. That familiar tone made me pause, slightly stunned.

I turned to see Abigail standing across the street, her expression tender as she waved at me.

"Samuel, get in the car," she said gently, pointing to a vehicle parked across the street.

I was caught off guard by her sudden appearance, but I quickly realized it wasn't a coincidence. She must have been following me. Knowing that I was going out, she wanted to see who I was meeting.

The thought deepened the disgust I felt toward her. She always claimed she wouldn't interfere with my work or personal life. Yet here she was, meddling once again.

Suppressing my irritation, I got into the passenger seat.

Before I could say anything, Abigail looked at me seriously as she said softly, "Samuel, I heard everything you just said to Blair."

Half my anger dissipated at her unexpected words. I looked at her in mild shock. "Y-You heard that? Were you following me?"
