The Masterpiece of Leaving:Prepared A Perfect Stand-In For Him novel Chapter 129

Navier stumbled and almost fell to the ground because of this unforeseen shove. When she looked back, she saw an angry and young face.

It was Diana!

"Miss Spencer, what are you doing?" She rubbed her sore arm and asked coldly.

Diana's delicate face was distorted from anger. "Navier, do you think that I really agreed with you when I told you last time that you could remarry my brother? To tell you the truth, I said it just to annoy Cathy. So don't think beautifully!"

She had already guessed this matter, so naturally, she would not dream about it.

The corner of Navier's mouth twitched as she smiled coldly, "Miss Spencer, did you forget? I refused at the time."

"Since you refuse, why are you still obsessed with the Spencer family's child? Do you want my brother to remarry you for the sake of the child?"

"Navier, if you told me truthfully that you wanted to remarry my brother, I could look up to you. However, you have played tricks in secret and pretended to be noble. That is so disgusting!"

Seeing her annoyed expression, Navier could not help but frown slightly.

Aubrey had already let her go, so why was Diana still holding on to this matter?

"This is 10 million. A woman like you can't make it in her lifetime! Immediately hand over the child to me!" Diana slapped a check in front of her chest.

Navier lowered her head to look at the check. It was really 10 million dollars.

It was ridiculous that she even dared to show off her power in front of her.

She suppressed her smirk so as not to reveal her ridicule. Instead, she wagged her fingers in front of Diana, "What if I say no?"

"I think you won't give up until you see death!"

After Diana finished speaking, she immediately raised her hand, "Take her!"

She had only finished speaking when four tall men appeared from around her.

The men approached Navier step by step.

This was to force her to agree to hand over Iris.

Navier's expression changed slightly as she clenched her palm and was about to start.

Before she could move, she heard a bang.

One of the four men was knocked over.

That person was moving too fast, and Diana could not see how the other person moved his hand at all.

She stared angrily and was about to curse when she saw that person's face clearly.

Navier also saw who was helping her.

That signature nonchalant face was clear and handsome.

"Brother William?" Diana called out.

The remaining three were about to attack William, but when they heard her call, they stopped.

William rubbed his wrist and looked at Navier first to make sure that she was not injured before coming to see Diana, "Diana, are you not afraid of losing the Spencer family's face when you did this nonsense in public?"

"This..." Diana's face suddenly flushed red.

She looked around anxiously. She was so angry just now that she almost forgot about her reputation.

"Who told her to be stubborn!" She still growled dissatisfiedly.

William took the check from Navier's hand, grabbed Diana's hand, and put it back in hers.

"Right. I think your brother doesn't want you to be so troublesome either."

When he mentioned Aubrey, a look of fear appeared on Diana's face.

She was actually quite afraid of her brother.

But when Navier dared to provoke her like this, she still felt uncomfortable. "Anyway, I just don't want to give her a chance to pester my brother!"

"Miss Spencer, if my last statement wasn't clear enough, I'll tell you solemnly this time. I don't have any thoughts about your brother. Would it be more believable if I write it down?"

After she finished speaking, without waiting for Diana to reply, she quickly took out a pen and paper and started writing.

After a moment, she shoved the paper into Diana's hands, "Okay, I also signed it! If I violate the contract, Miss Spencer can publicize this in the upper class so everyone will know."

Diana was a little surprised, but she still took the paper.

The corner of her lips curled up in satisfaction.

However, she did not want to let her go. "Iris is from the Spencer family. No matter how you say it, she must return to our family!"

"Diana, Iris's custody should be decided by your brother and Navier. If you want to meddle with their business, what if your brother gets angry? Do you want him to send you abroad?" William said.

"I don't want it!" Diana was used to living a good life, so she did not want to suffer abroad, so she immediately shook her head.

She no longer struggled and left with the note.

Only then did Navier turn around to look at William. "Thank you, Mr. Ripley."
