The Medallion novel Chapter 1541

"What are you going to do after this?" Carla asked Rocky and Eunice after she had calmed down a little and changed her clothes. Now she found out that the two of them journeyed to the Spiritual Sea Region because of the Army-blessing Scroll. That was to say, the two of them didn't enter the Sky-suppressing School for further cultivation at all. Now that they had found what they were looking for, they could leave the school as soon as they got out of there.

But somehow, she hated that Rocky might leave the Sky-suppressing School so soon, as somehow, she cared so much about him. Perhaps, it was because he saved her or some other reasons. Anyway, if Rocky left, she would certainly feel out-of-sorts and slightly frustrated.

Meanwhile, Eunice also sent an uncertain glance at Rocky because she was feeling conflicted. The Army-blessing Scroll had been integrated with Rocky, so it would be bad for her if he weren't willing to return to the Di Clan with her. How was she supposed to explain what happened to the chief and elders? She had to persuade Rocky to go back with her!

On the other hand, Rocky only accompanied Eunice to the Sky-suppressing School because she had asked him to help find the Army-blessing Scroll. Now that they had completed the task, his promise was also concluded. The only thing left for him to do was to find Marcia and the others as soon as possible, and after that, he would try to leave this world.

At that moment, all three of them were preoccupied with the thousands of thoughts running through their heads.

Neither Rocky nor Eunice broke the silence for a long time. Finally, Eunice couldn't help remarking, "Well, whatever his plans are, if he doesn't come back with me to the Di Clan, I will have to follow him wherever he goes. I have no other choice."

"It's not that I don't want to go back with you. I just have to find my companions before anything else."

Rocky clarified his part.

"You mean you are willing to go back with me once you've found your companions?"

Eunice's eyes lit up as if she had found hope at the end of the tunnel.

"Yes, I will,"

said Rocky casually, ignoring the growing smile on Eunice's face.

"If that's the case, then I will use all my connections to help you find your companions. But you have to keep your promise!

Once you have found your companions, you will go back to the Di Clan with me," proposed Eunice eagerly.

"Sure. It's a deal," Rocky agreed without any hesitation.

After all, he thought that he could find Marcia and others faster with Eunice's help.

"I'm glad to see you two have made peace," Carla chimed in.

She breathed a relieved sigh when she realized that the conflict between Rocky and Eunice had been resolved.

"Humph! What peace? He's always trouble for me,"

Eunice protested immediately and looked away from Rocky, hiding the flustered look on her face.

"Basil, why are you in such a hurry to find your friends?"

Carla suddenly asked out of curiosity.

"I'm afraid that they're in danger, so I have to find them before it's too late," explained Rocky.

Of course, he couldn't tell her the entire truth, and lies rooted in the truth were easier to confess. He could hardly admit that he was worried because they were from another land.

"Then, is there anything I can help you with?"

Carla asked out of kindness.

This made Rocky look at her with a smile before he was lost in thought. "How much do you know about the border battlefield of the Ethereal Region?" he asked her after a while.

"The border battlefield?" Carla was stunned for a moment. She didn't expect that Rocky would ask about the border battlefield, but she quickly recovered and answered worriedly, "I'm sorry, but I don't know much about it. Are your companions on the battlefield?"

"Maybe,"

Rocky replied uncertainly, shrugging.

"Although I don't have much information about the border battlefield, my uncle, Myles, is the commander-in-chief in the Sunny Pass. He might be able to help if you want to find someone on the battlefield!"
