"How much time does it take to reach Earth Rank?" Gu Jin asked.

"At least 10 years if you are a genius. Yes! If a person is at yellow rank then he needs at least 10 years to reach Earth Rank." Ren Aiguo said.

Gu Jin’s mouth twitched,

"And what if the person is at apprentice rank?"

"To reach the peak of apprentice rank, one needs 4 years. To reach the peak of Yellow rank, one needs 7 years."

"So if a person wants to reach Earth Rank, he needs at least 21 years?"

"You can say that. Provided you don’t meet any obstacle and you are a genius."

Gu Jin suddenly wanted to test her rank,

"I want to test my level of Alchemy."

"You have started to study Alchemy already?" Ren Aiguo asked in shock.

Gu Jin’s eyes brightened. She too thought that she could start practicing alchemy, but she was afraid to blow up the space and didn’t know if her knowledge was enough to start practicing Alchemy, hence she didn’t dare to make any assumptions or practice.

"So can I start practicing alchemy?"

"Yup. I think you should find a mentor after appraising your level." Ren Aiguo suggested.

In his heart though he was marvelling at Gu Jin’s talent.

Not only did she have a rare element like Dark Fire, but she also was a genius in Alchemy.

Ren Aiguo thought that Gu Jin had some prior knowledge of herbs.

Otherwise, how could she reach the peak of Apprentice level within half a year?

He assumed that Gu Jin had started to learn about herbs from the age of 5 or 10, which was still quite expectional.

Gu Jin knew about the appraisal and decided to get it done tomorrow.

She moved to her next target,

"I want some real-life battle experience."

Even though dealing with Venomous Mosquitoes was difficult, it wasn’t to the point that she had a hard time.

"I can take you with me for adventures only when you reach at advanced level."

If Ren Aiguo was earlier impressed by Gu Jin’s stubbornness and talent, now he admired her, because of her backbone.

Gu Jin returned to her apartment thinking about Ren Aiguo’s offer.

She didn’t brainlessly reject him. She had a trump card using which she could almost escape any dangerous situation.

When she entered the apartment, she saw Si Kai pacing back and forth.

"What happened kid?"

Si Kai looked in Gu Jin’s direction and hurriedly hugged her.

"Sister, where did you go? Do you know how tensed I was?"

It was then, that Gu Jin remembered that she hadn’t told Si Kai that she was going to be late.

"I am sorry."

"Don’t do it again."

"Hm." Gu Jin agreed.

After they had dinner, Gu Jin told her experience to Si Kai, whose eyes brightened.

Once Si Kai went back to his room, Gu Jin went to her space and started cultivating her Dark Fire element.
