Chapter 350 Why Are You Coming Along?
Ruthless?
No, I’m being perfectly fair. Everything Noah’s dealing with now is his own doing.

Samantha pulled her arm free and stared at him with icy detachment. “I’ve given you choices, Noah. That’s more mercy than most would offer. So, don’t call me ruthless. Take care of yourself.”
She paused for a second before adding, “When you’ve thought it through, give me a call. The moment I
ee either the money or the shares, I’ll help you.”

Without another glance back, Samantha strode out of the room.
She knew Noah well–he was the type who feared death more than anything.
Once he realized his life was truly on the line, he’d come around to her terms. A faint smirk smile played on her lips as she got into the driver’s car and left Saint Night. Sitting in the car, Emily glanced at Samantha, who was casually scrolling through her phone.
“Sam, you’re with Mr. Dean now, right? But just now, you seemed pretty close to another man. Aren’t you worried Mr. Dean will get mad if he finds out?”
Samantha barely lifted her eyes from the screen, casting a cold glance at Emily. “How blind do you have to… be to think I was being ‘close‘ with that man?”
Emily shrank back at Samantha’s sharp look, mumbling, “But…you two were holding hands.”
Samantha rolled her eyes, the coldness in her voice palpable. “That’s why I said you’re blind. He grabbed my arm for a second. That’s hardly what I’d call holding hands.”
Emily flinched at the biting tone, clearly uncomfortable, but she kept her mouth shut after that. Samantha continued tapping away on her phone, clearly engrossed in her messages. Whoever she was texting had her completely focused.
Emily pursed her lips and looked away, sensing it was better to stay quiet. Suddenly, Samantha spoke up from the backseat. “Luke, change of plans. We’re not going home just yet. Take me somewhere first.”
“Where to, Mrs. Dean?” Luke Maxwell, the driver, asked from the driver’s seat.
“The slums,” Samantha replied without missing a beat.
Luke, ever the professional, didn’t ask questions. He simply nodded and drove Samantha and Emily to the slums. When they arrived, Emily stayed in the car, visibly uncomfortable, while Samantha calmly opened the door and stepped out. Luke, glancing around at the rundown and filthy surroundings, couldn’t hide the concern in his voice as his followed her.

“Mrs. Dean, this place looks too dangerous, and it’s filthy. Why don’t you tell me who you’re here to see? I can find them for you,” he offered.
Samantha shook her head. If she wanted to make her intentions clear, it was better to handle this herself. “No need. I’ll go alone. Just wait here. I’ll take a look.”
Luke, not entirely convinced, stepped out of the car. “At least let me go with you, Mrs. Dean. That way, if anything happens, I can help.”
