Edith heard that a woman came to find Casey, she immediately turned to take a glance at him, with a trace of inquiry in her eyes.

"Who is Vermilion Bird? I never knew you have such a friend." Edith asked.

Casey smiled at Edith with embarrassment, he said “She is my... Well, colleague."

He did not know how to tell Edith about the identity of Vermilion Bird. He had never mentioned the Pantheon to Edith, so he said Vermilion Bird was his colleague.

"Colleague?" Edith obviously was stunned, put down the chopsticks, staring at Casey, “Do you have something to hide from me? Why do you have a colleague? Casey, you are lying."

Casey did not understand what was in Edith’s mind.

Casey thought if Vermilion Bird came to make a scene, he would teach her a lesson even if he would even offend her three brothers.

Later, Vermilion Bird was led by the servant to Casey and Edith. Vermilion Bird looked messy. Casey remembered that she loved dressing up and wearing many jewelries, but now Vermilion Bird looked messy in her hair and dirty on her face, as if she had been hungry for a long time. She did not look swaggering as she did in the pantheon.
