Hearing what Vermilion Bird said, Casey looked at Vermilion Bird curiously. According to Vermilion Bird’s words, Lachlan controlled other people's mind to seduce girls. Vermilion Bird was pretty, if Lachlan could control Vermilion Bird, the consequence was naturally obvious.
"So you lost your virginity?" Casey asked.
Hearing that, Vermilion Bird turned pale on her face and looked back at Casey, biting teeth, “Can you say some good words? I am at the peak of grandmaster circle. Lachlan hypnotized me, but it did not last long, and he was aware of that if he did anything to me, I will make him a eunuch before he took off his pants."
Edith looked at Casey with blame and felt his question was straightforward. Although Lachlan defeated Vermilion Bird and she felt something bad might have happened, she would speak out as Casey did.
"Sorry, I think too much." Casey looked at Vermilion Bird with apology, because in the Pantheon, he had been straightforward to Vermilion Bird, so he naturally said so.
Vermilion Bird ignored Casey and continued, “Lachlan knows my identity, even if he hypnotizes me, he did not dare to do anything to me, but he took everything away from me, not leaving me a cent. When I woke up, I found myself outside his house."
"I was going to kill him again, but Lachlan’s spiritual power was too strange to me to cope with it. Even if I fought with him again, he would hypnotize me again. He knows the existence of the Pantheon, but he does not know the horrors of the Pantheon. He let me go for the first time, but he may not at the second time."
"So I had to resist the urge to go to him. I have to calm down and think about how to deal with him."
"I have no money to eat and to live in a hotel. There are only a few people of the Pantheon in B City, I do not have a mobile phone so I can’t contact anyone. Later I borrowed someone else's mobile phone to call my brothers, but they could not arrive here in a short time. they told me you are in B City and asked me to find you."
"I starved for two days and slept under the overbridge for two days. There was nothing I could do, so I asked for the location of your house and came to you."
In the end of her words, Vermilion Bird inexplicably felt wronged. Unexpectedly she would ask Casey for help, which embarrassed her, because she had been arrogant to Casey.
"Then why didn't you come to me in the first place and would rather starve for two days?" Casey asked with doubt.
Vermilion Bird angrily stared at Casey and said, “Because it is embarrassing, why do you ask that? You must be intentional."
Edith appeased Vermilion Bird and accused Casey. She asked Vermilion Bird not to be angry with him.
Casey really was not intentional, he just did not understand. Seeing that Vermilion Bird had that reaction, so he apologized.
Unexpectedly Vermilion Bird would be so fragile, but Casey had more understanding about her.
After Vermilion Bird calmed down, Casey began to discuss with her about how to deal with Lachlan. He was a member of the Pantheon, now his "colleague" had a problem, sure he would offer help.
Vermilion Bird felt it unbelievable. Lachlan was powerful, but Casey did not take it seriously, as if Lachlan was nobody in his eyes.
Edith saw Vermilion Bird’s reaction and said with a smile, “Casey will not do things without preparation, since he said so, he must have a way to deal with Lachlan. Believe him. I take you to have a bath."
With that, Edith went out holding Vermilion Bird's hand.
In the evening, Casey and Vermilion Bird walked in the street. The Davies’ house was not far from the Chapman’s house, so they chose to walk to there.
Had known that Chapman family had such a dangerous person, Casey must have taken a move on Chapman family.
Vermilion Bird was perturbed. She turned to Casey and asked, “Are you sure you have a way to deal with Lachlan? If we two can't deal with him, will we be killed?"
Casey turned to Vermilion Bird and said, “Am I so unreliable? At least I was invited by your Lord to join the Pantheon, I am not that bad."
Hearing Casey said so, Vermilion Bird no longer persuaded Casey but muttered, “Hum, if something bad happens, my three brothers certainly will not forgive you."
