Nathaniel was taken aback when Killian erupted into maniacal laughter upon hearing about Nathaniel’s mother’s misfortune. 

Killian implored Nathaniel to look after his family, expressing his readiness to relinquish everything: wealth, status, power. 

He even handed over Technologent to Nathaniel, with the sole request that he treat Killian’s family with kindness. 

Nathaniel scoffed. Why hadn’t Killian extended the same courtesy to Zander’s family?

“Mr. Morgan is inquiring if you’re ready.” 

“I’m ready!” Freya took a deep breath, picked up her bag, and stepped out. 

Upon reaching the door, she saw Nathaniel in a limited edition Rolls Royce that he rarely drove. 

It appeared that he was taking the dinner with Andala Corp quite seriously, as he typically reserved this car for more significant meetings. 

Freya climbed in, and Nathaniel took her hand.

“There’s an artist studio there, owned by an acquaintance of mine. You can work there, your visa will be approved in the next few days.”
