Chapter 210 Prison Visit

Freya had no idea what Nathaniel was up to. It did not seem like he was punishing her; he was being too nice to her. Apparently, she always remembered Nathaniel as the quiet one, and she was usually the one to try to make him laugh. This time however, both of them were equally quiet. 

Freya was deep in her thoughts when she accidentally tripped over a rock. Nathaniel immediately caught her, as Koen rushed toward them from a flowerbed nearby. It seemed as if something serious had happened. He glanced at Freya the moment he approached Nathaniel.. 

Freya was self–conscious in these situations, so she led the dog away to make space for them. 

“Mr. Nathaniel,” Koen lowered his voice as he said, “I received news from Hudson, and you’re free to visit anytime now.” 

Nathaniel was delighted upon hearing the news. So he rushed to his car with Koen as it did not take long for them to reach the outskirts from their villa. 

The women’s prison was located on the outskirts of East Saeville. Several engineers were visiting it, and their leader was someone tall who attracted a lot of attention. Yet he pulled down his baseball cap and wore a black face mask to cover himself. Everyone could not see his face clearly. 

“Mr. Nathaniel, do you have a specific location for your search? What are you looking for?” Koen still did not know why his boss would go to such an extent to search for something. 

Nathaniel looked at the worn prison cell located not far away and asked, “Where is the warehouse?” 

Koen was taken aback for a second before he went searching for it. The person in charge of the prison could tell that they were some sort of big shot as not everyone could simply demolish a prison and build a new one for free. He smiled, and said while pointing in a direction, “We stored a lot of junk in the warehouse. There aren’t many prisoners at the moment, so there’s nothing much to store in there. Only the handmade crafts of the previous cellmates were stored there, and most of them are unusable now.” 

Koen and the others immediately followed Nathaniel as he jogged toward the direction the staff member pointed. Soon enough, he arrived in front of an insignificant flower bed beside the warehouse. There were weeds moving along with the wind, and not even one beautiful flower could be seen. This was the one and only flower bed near the warehouse. It was tiny. Maybe some staff members or the prisoners planted this flower bed out of boredom. The tiles surrounding the flowerbed had cracks, and the weeds in them made it look desolated. Nathaniel froze in front of the flower bed the moment he saw it, staring hard at those weeds. 

The staff member was in a daze, and he asked politely, “Are you guys going to set up some equipment for the inspection?” 

Koen turned around and shook his hand as he said warmly, “I’m sorry. Our leader doesn’t want to
