Chapter 23 Sir Rivera. 

“You.” Jacob panicked. 

He was not afraid of anyone–not his father, not his mother, but his grandfather. 

His grandfather had high hopes for him. When the Rivera family was in a time of crisis, he saved him with his life. 

If his grandfather was the one forcing him, he had no choice but to obey. 

Now that his grandfather was living abroad, he was living a good and easy life in his castle. He did not interrupt his affair anymore. 

But when Nathaniel suddenly mentioned his grandfather meeting the Johnson family, it frightened 

him. 

Could Nathaniel be the one? 

Nathaniel said slowly, “Sir Rivera is just back in the country; aren’t you going to pay him a visit?” 

Jacob took a deep breath, and he had to put away the Junchbox. He turned around and muttered to Freya, “I’ll go home for now; see you tomorrow.” 

Freya nodded to him. 

Jacob glanced at Nathaniel before walking out of the ward 

It was not only that he was afraid of his grandfather; he also knew that he was ruthless. He would be furious if he got to know that he was taking care of Freya. After all, the Rivera and Gomez families were, in bad blood. And he might put Freya in danger because of it. 

Koen wanted to put the flowers in the vase but only realized that Jacob had done it before him. He turned around and looked at Nathaniel. 

Nathaniel gestured for him to take out Jacob’s flowers. He put the flowers on the table and put in Nathaniel’s baby’s breath. He then left the ward with Ozzy. 

Peyton was like a security guard, guarding at the bedside, worried that he might harm Freya. 

Nathaniel looked at this foolish woman and frowned. He snorted, “Get the f*ck out!” 

“Why should I? Who are you to order me around? Are you my dad?” Her voice was trembling, but she still scolded him nonetheless.. 

“Peyton, Freya was worried that she had really offended Nathaniel, so she said, “You should leave first.” 

“No! He means no good! I’m not leaving: I’m…..”
