Chapter 34 Come to the police station now
Nathaniel went berserk in Freya’s rental house after drinking; she did not expect him to vent on Peyton, who was being fired from the Red Shift.
Peyton scolded and cursed at him, and she had to apply for a job at the other clubhouses. But no one dared hire the worker who was fired by Nathaniel.
Freya knew that Nathaniel was forcing her–forcing her to let go of her dignity and give in to him.
She could not guess what he wanted; he was always surrounded by various types of beautiful ladies. From the bar girls in Red Shift to the famous actresses and even the rich ladies in Saeville, any of these women would literally throw themselves at him if he wanted them.
But he hated her so much that he was unwilling to let her go.
She could barely breathe from the pressure of her mother’s medical expenses.
All she could do was concentrate on painting the t–shirts: she used to draw for around eight hours per day, but now she had to draw for more than ten hours, and her hand was shaking from exhaustion.
Peyton could not be of any help to her in drawing; she could only push her trolley to the market to sell things with her.
She would stay at home to draw while Peyton went to the market; they were more efficient in earning money this way.
She was tired from all the drawing, and her cell phone rang the moment she wanted to rest.
It was from an unknown caller.
“Hey, are you Peyton’s relative? Come to the Leisville Police Station now!”
She was dumbfounded upon receiving this call. Peyton went to the market with my t–shirts an hour ago; how did she end up in the police station?
“Sir, may I know what happened to her?” Freya was dead worried.
“She was involved in a fight.”
Freya hurriedly grabbed a jacket and dashed down the stairs, and she took a taxi to the police station.
She got to know that Peyton had an argument with someone when she was in the market, and both of them got into a fight, so they were temporarily detained.
It was late in the night, and Freya could only bail Peyton out after contacting the lawyer the following day.
She walked outside the street of the police station in panic, and she was shakily pushing her trolley.
She knew that Peyton might be hot–tempered, but she would never get into conflict with others without any reason.
Chapter 34 Come to the police station now
Freya had been in jail for the past three years. After the Gomez family was ruined, no one ever kept in Touch with Saeville; everyone avoided her instead.
At this moment, she had no one to t
go to.
Suddenly, a white Bentley pulled off beside her; it stopped abruptly and almost banged her.
She quickly jumped to the side of the road; the car window was rolled down, revealing Jolin’s face.
She took off her sunglasses and looked at Freya coldly. Freya frowned.
Jolin said with a faint smile, “Freya, this is my warning to you!” “You’re no longer the bright daughter of the Gomez family.”
“You’re nothing now; you better live your life quietly; don’t go for the things that aren’t meant to be yours!”
“If not, you’ll be unlucky.
