Peyton had also arranged hospital care for Freya’s mother and even searched for her brother. After Freya was released from prison. Peyton helped her find a job and start a business. After assisting her with the removal of the medical equipment and applying medication, Ozzy instructed a nurse to move her to the general ward. As soon as Freya was settled in the general ward, Peyton rushed to her bedside, tears streaming down her face. “You scared me; I thought you were dead!” Peyton exclaimed. Freya smiled, trying to reach out and hold her hand, but she lacked the strength. “I’ve wanted to visit you in the intensive care unit for so long. Peyton sobbed. “But Mr. Morgan spent five days there. Only onc family member was allowed to visit, and if he was there, I couldn’t be.”
Upon hearing Peyton’s words, Ozzy chuckled, shook his head, and left the ward. Freya was taken aback. How could anyone be allowed to stay in the intensive care unit for such an extended period? Even if Ozzy had requested a special exception from the hospital, Nathaniel wouldn’t have been able to stay by her side day and night. Her fear intensified her desire to escape. Looking at Peyton’s arm, Freya asked, “How’s your arm? What did the doctor say?”
