Aeynid Erik could remember the moment that Andar became a
fourth-dimensional immortal, and how she had remained in place for a single year to allow the implication of what something like this could mean to sink into her consciousness.
Andar had become a fourth-dimensional Magus at one hundred thousand years of age!
Aeynid knew that there might have been other mages in the past who might have achieved such a feat; the problem was that she could not find any mention of any mage who could have done such a thing. Did that not make her son unique in all of the Magus World? Even placed against the backdrop of the entirety of reality, where would Andar stand?
She had watched him blaze through the ranks as a Mage and then he became an Archmage even before she could blink her eyes, surpassing her took decades, and when he became a fourth-dimensional immortal, Aeynid shock was only equal to her ambitions.
She was well aware of her son's great talent, and even as a mortal, his talent had been so great it could not be easily expressed and she had sent him away to a small universe to live a life that was free of all the politics and cruelty of the Magus World, however, she knew that if Andar was ever to awaken his talent, he would be a great Magus, what she did not expect was how great he would become.
The moment Andar fully entered the Supreme World, Aeynid began to cultivate their relationship, she knew that distance and time had dulled the edges of their bond, yet she was determined that she would get close to her son, and advise him on his path forward while protecting him for as long as she was able to.
Andar's blazing cultivation speed left any plans she had for protection behind, and soon, she could no longer even see his shadows; it was a good thing that she had not delayed in cultivating their bond because when Andar became a fourth-dimensional immortal, the first person he came to find was her.
Aeynid immediately pledged her loyalty to him and began to sweep the Erik Magus family to follow the banner of her son, and she was able to draw a sizable portion to his side, but there were many among her family, some of them fourth-dimensional mages that refused to follow the lead of Andar.
She came forward to her son and told him that for his reach to encompass the entire family, he needed to be a Tower Master, which was a title that any powerful fourth-dimensional mage could pursue. There was no Tower Master in the Erik family, and if he became one, then even the old ancestors of their family would follow his lead.
Andar had rejected her, saying he needed a higher oath forward and did not want to be tied down governing universes in the lower realms despite the benefits that all Tower Masters enjoyed such as access to the Primordial Aether of that universe.
