The Primordial Record novel Chapter 1555

Before Andar could take such a drastic step as going against the Supreme Mage, he needed to be fully prepared, if such a thing could even be prepared for, but over the years, as he grew stronger as a mage, he had been able to gather a lot of spells and unique abilities that pushed his powers to realms unknown.

His talents in all Immortal Arts had grown by leaps and bounds, including Alchemy, Weapon Refinement, Formation, Talisman Crafting, Spiritual Plant, and Puppet Creation. Unlike other mages who only focused on one of these crafts, Andar took all of them.

This would be considered madness, but he had seen someone who was far greater and thought the entire Immortal Arts of the Mages to be nothing but a tiny portion of the absolute truth behind eternity. Andar knew he could not be equal to the breadth of his father's knowledge, so he pursued the depths of the Immortal Arts, wanting to become the first person to completely master and supersede them.

Andar wished that he had more time to perfect these arts, but in the million years of his life, all these Immortal Arts had reached levels barely seen in Reality, and they all went into the creation of Andar's Magus Staff—his magnum opus.

Andar had never unveiled this staff before the eyes of anyone, even Rowan, because it was the core of who he was, and he did not reveal that sort of thing easily due to his perfectionist nature and because the might of what he created was more greater than he could control with his present level. Still, he needed his staff if he was ever to get any chance to stand before Endirius.

He had seen the power of Old Ones and knew that even a seventh-dimensional immortal could not look upon their true form without being corrupted by their presence. Andar believed that even among Old Ones, Endirius stood head and shoulders above all of them, making the confrontation with this Old One one of the most significant challenges he would ever tackle in his life.

Closing his eyes for a bit so he could pour every bit of concentration that he had into his mental space, he connected with Cloudy, his Magus Tower, now a sixth-dimensional entity and larger than any sixty-dimensional realm had any right to be.

Even if a Cloud Whale were able to reach the sixth-dimensional realm, they would be nothing but a speck of dust before the present Cloud Whale that could swallow a hundred dimensions in a single gulp.

His consciousness was entwined with his Magus Tower, and this act strengthened his already powerful mind to the level where the sixth-dimensional realm became a part of it.

Around Andar, the force of his consciousness shattered the earth, leaving him hovering above the burning star a few hundred miles below. The power of the Magus Sun, unfiltered by the earth, pressed against Andar's skin, but the might of his consciousness was now so vast it was able to repel it.

It was as if he multiplied the power of his consciousness a million times over. All of this was a necessary step because without a consciousness of this power, Andar would not even be able to lift his Magus Staff, and if he wanted to confront Endirius, a consciousness power of this level was needed to be able to even look at the Old One.

When Andar was chased by the eighth-dimensional vampire Drakul, he had been luring that entity to the core of his realm to trap him, and ultimately, he had not needed to make that move because he was able to reach Rowan before Drakul reached his core.
