Zed kissed her passionately making her moan in pleasure. She trailed her fingers down his chest. He looked hot with his rock hard arbs on display.
“Its time for you to wake up Freya." He said as his hot breath fanned her neck making her hair stand.
“But I don't want to, I want to stay in bed with you," Freya replied as the voice got louder and not sounding like Zeds anymore.
“Wake up!" Her alarm blew making her jolt.
She slammed her hand on the alarm clock muting it immediately.
Why am I having wet dreams about Zed?
Am I falling for him? Freya asked herself getting out of bed.
Nope, it can't be Zed likes Soraya, not Freya
And I am not falling for Zed. She convinced herself as she stepped into the shower.
“Ma?" Zed called as he entered the hospital. He had to travel to see his mom who had been admitted in the hospital. She had sprained her ankle and elbow two days ago. She slipped on the stairs and fell supporting herself with her right-hand spraining it in the process.
“Baby, you didn't need to come." She said spotting him.
“I did Ma, Jess called me to tell me what had happened, I had to take the train to Jamesburg borough to see you Ma." He said.
“What of work?" The middle-aged woman asked.
“I explained it to my boss, she understood." He said.
“Excuse me Ma, I've got to pick this all." He walked out surprised Soraya had called him.
“Soraya." He said as he answered the call.
“How's your mom?" She asked rubbing her temple.
“She's fine." He answered sensing she was going to ask him of something.
“So, um, I need you to be back the day after tomorrow, I can't keep driving myself to work, I'm the boss I need to be driven that's why you were hired. So you're coming back on Sunday, no buts. See you." She dropped the call
How could she be so heartless and sexy at the same time? His mind played with him making him shake off the thought.
“Your boss wants you in Jersey City right?" His mama asked.
“Yes, on Sunday." He sighed.
“Its fine baby, I'm being discharged today." She patted him on his shoulder.
His dad had died 2 years ago from lung cancer. Even in his sickness, he was a strong and happy man. He never made them lack. Zed has been taking care of his mom and his twin sisters, Jess and Jackie. Jackie was in New York City studying music and Jess was with her Ma here in Jamesburg borough, she had opened a hairdressing salon and was doing well with it.
“Alright, mom," Zed added.
“Did Zed come by today?" Freya asked her Secretary.
“No ma'am." She answered.
“Okay." She replied
Was he still mad at me for laughing at him?
It was just a joke. She said to herself.
“... Stop checking your Instagram feed and get food into your system." Betty, Soraya's maid told her daughter Nayla.
“I'm not hungry Ma." She retorted.
“I can hear your stomach grumble. Watching all those feeds are going to make you wish you were like them or belonged to their class. Some are fake ass bitches, so study hard, finish your course and then pray you get a better company to work." Her mom advised.
“What of Soraya's?" Nayla asked out of the blue.
“You think she'd hire her maid's daughter to work in her dad's company?" Betty asked raising her eyebrows.
“Soar higher, and stop believing in anything you see on IG. Believe in you." She said to her continuing with her work.
“Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
I messed up tonight
I lost another fight
Lost to myself, but I'll just start again
I keep falling down
I keep on hitting the ground
But I always get up now to see what's next
Birds don't just fly
They fall and get up
Nobody learns without getting it wrong
I won't give up
No, I won't give in till I reach the end
And then I'll start again
No, I won't leave
I want to try everything
