The Queen Returns—And She's Unforgiving novel Chapter 100

As Evelyn and Justine made their way through the exhibit, someone suddenly stopped them. Flynn frowned as he looked at the two of them. "How did you get in?"

Seeing her brother, Justine rolled her eyes impatiently. "None of your business! Just worry about yourself."

Flynn's gaze briefly swept over Evelyn before he said coldly, "This isn't some social media hotspot for women to take photos. Don't cause a scene."

Evelyn calmly took Justine's hand and looked at Flynn. "We're here on Mr. Hill's behalf."

Flynn frowned in confusion. "Since when did Sebastian get so casual and would send you two to an event meant for networking?"

He knew Justine well—she only cared about partying and having fun. And as for Evelyn, what role could she possibly play in a setting like this?

Evelyn knew Flynn had always been prejudiced against her, so she didn't bother explaining. Instead, she simply led Justine toward another section of the exhibit.

Just then, they brushed past a man walking in the opposite direction. Brandon Connor's gaze landed on Evelyn, lingering for a few seconds.

Flynn noticed his reaction and quickly stepped forward. "Brandon, that's my sister. She's a bit reckless, so I need to keep an eye on them to make sure they don't cause trouble."

"Both of them?" Brandon raised an eyebrow.

Before Flynn could answer, a commotion erupted from the main hall. Evelyn turned her head slightly toward the noise.

Lucas and Tiffany had just arrived. As VIP guests, they were immediately surrounded by people eager to greet them.

Tiffany wore an elegant smile and lightly held onto Lucas' arm. She handled the attention gracefully, exuding confidence and composure.

Both of them noticed Evelyn. Lucas' gaze turned cold and looked away without the slightest hesitation, not sparing her another glance. Meanwhile, whenever Tiffany spoke, Lucas would lean down to listen and exchange a smile.

Justine instinctively glanced at Evelyn's expression before gritting her teeth in frustration. "Anyone who doesn't know better would think she's already Mrs. Grant. Where does that leave you? He's acting like you don't even exist!"
