The Queen Returns—And She's Unforgiving novel Chapter 126

Of course, Thomas would not let anything slip.

When Tiffany entered, her eyes swept briefly over Sebastian, who was standing beside Evelyn.

Tiffany finally understood. Evelyn only got in thanks to Sebastian pulling the strings.

Jason and Flynn exchanged greetings with Thomas. They knew he was no ordinary figure. As a student of Graham, he was now leading national research projects on his own.

As for Brandon, he was much more casual than they were. "It's been a while."

His grandfather was a higher-up at the provincial-ministerial level, and his father was in the military. He knew these researchers quite well, as he had frequent contact with them.

His gaze landed on Evelyn shortly after, brows raised with mild interest.

If Evelyn could get into places like this, it spoke volumes about how many resources she had gotten from Sebastian.

Tiffany gave a graceful nod and said, " I'm Tiffany, here on behalf of Mr. Grant from Bluezen. He is unfortunately tied up with some matters and will be joining us later. Please excuse his absence."

Tiffany was representing Bluezen? Evelyn mulled over her phrasing.

Tiffany's relationship with Lucas was already close enough to have her attend important events on his behalf.

Was he telling the world just how special Tiffany was to him?

Thomas gave Tiffany a measured look. "So you're Ms. Moore. I've heard of you from Mr. Grant. He speaks quite highly of you."

Tiffany returned a modest smile, though the fondness in her expression was unmistakable.

Anyone would have noticed there was much more between them.

Evelyn had no interest in whatever expression she was wearing. She turned to Sebastian and asked about the number of exhibits they were touring today.

Before Sebastian could answer, Flynn spoke up. "Mr. Hill, all the military techs here are top-tier in the world. Instead of bringing your core engineers, why did you bring along someone… completely clueless?"

With his eyes fixed on Evelyn, he chuckled before continuing, "Here, only capabilities matter. Unlike anywhere else, good looks are worth nothing."
