Evelyn knew Lucas only remembered this matter because of Maria. However, they were getting divorced, so there was no need to keep up appearances in private. 

As for deleting those photos, it was just to save his storage space and avoid any misunderstandings if Tittany happened to see them. 

Lucas‘ cold, dark eyes lingered on her face for a few seconds, seemingly thoughtful. He then chuckled and said, “Alright, sult yourself.” 

He turned and walked into the washmom. He didn’t seem intent on forcing it. Probably didn’t want it in the first place. 

Evelyn couldn’t be bothered to guess what he was thinking. She massaged her brow in frustration. 

Maria staying over had been unexpected. It also seemed like she was planning to stay for a few days, but she couldn’t keep coming over. Evelyn sat by the bed and waited for Lucas to finish showering in the meantime, she organized the plans for her project.
