Lucas answered the phone. His deep voice was emotionless. "What is it?"

The room in the car was small, so Evelyn could hear Sophia acting cute even though she didn't wish to hear it.

"Lucas, you've probably started your journey, right? Come pick me up."

Lucas never catered to Sophia's every whim. On the contrary, he was merciless most of the time.

"Am I your driver?" he asked coldly.

Sophia couldn't help but shrink back. She mumbled, feeling wronged, "It's along your route, so why can't you pick me up? I even asked Grandma. You'll definitely pass by my place en route."

He raised his head and told the driver the address. He then turned to glance at Evelyn. "Do you mind if I pick her up?"
