Lucas didn't take it seriously. "Ignore her. She's spoiled."
Mason suddenly remembered that post because of what Fiona said.
He immediately scooted over, poured her a drink, and coaxed gently, "Come on, tell me. Who's that lady in the post with your brother the other day?"
Jason's eyes flickered. Even Tiffany couldn't help but look toward Jason.
She wondered why Jason didn't tell them anything if he was dating. She had asked him about it before, but he never responded.
Lucas lazily cast him a glance. There was a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
Fiona instinctively glanced at her brother.
He had already told her that there was nothing going on between him and Evelyn. Evelyn also disliked such misunderstandings and forbade her from saying anything misleading.
With that in mind, she blinked, explaining, "She's just a lady we bumped into. No one important."
Mason instantly let out a disappointed sigh.
Tiffany raised her brow at that. She knew it. Jason wouldn't hide something like that.
"If I recall, Jason was smiling happily at her in your photo," Lucas mentioned suddenly as he loosened the buttons on his riding shirt.
His words were enough to make everyone silent.
Jason stiffened. He replied in a manner that sounded like he was joking, "It's probably because she's very pretty."
This time, everyone looked at him with varying expressions.
Tiffany gave Jason a glance. She had never heard Jason praise any woman other than her before...
…
After a week of rest, Evelyn returned to work.
She felt that several data sets from the main project she had taken over after joining Flying Seal Group needed to be retested. The project's investor outreach would have to be postponed accordingly. However, the side tasks had to be done in tandem.
On Wednesday, Flying Seal Group received an invitation to Silux Technology's new materials launch.
As a technical shareholder, Evelyn attended the event with Sebastian.
If Silux Materials offered a significant advantage, it was worth considering bringing them into their drone production.
When they arrived downstairs at Silux, Evelyn saw a call coming in from Maria.
