The Queen Returns—And She’s Unforgiving novel Chapter 209

Bypassing TechNova Group and Tiffany to speak directly with Lucas was not just assertive. It was also a cleverly veiled attempt at initiating a conversation.

Just then, Sebastian finished his talk with another group and walked over. Brandon immediately extended his hand. "Flying Seal Group just launched a new project. Mr. Hill, you've been a busy man lately. Wherever you go, you're the center of attention."

Lucas nodded politely. "Mr. Hill."

Sebastian returned the courtesy with a smile. "It's not too bad. Now that we're collaborating with TechNova Group, I have full confidence in the professionalism and accountability of their team. I don't need to worry much about the project."

Hearing this, Tiffany frowned slightly on instinct. Lucas remained unfazed. "Of course. You can count on us."

Brandon, watching the two, leaned in and said quietly to Sebastian, "I know Flying Seal Group's project requires advanced materials and cross-sector collaboration. Have you considered working with Silux?"

He had been nudged about this by both of his parents. They had told him to seize this opportunity while the industry was shifting.

While he was not entirely satisfied with how Flying Seal Group handled things—especially how they let an assistant influence top-level decisions—he could not deny the project had immense potential.

Sebastian answered diplomatically, "Silux's one of the top players in the field, no doubt. But this is a major decision. I'll need to discuss it with the other shareholders before I can give you an answer."

Brandon narrowed his eyes. Did Sebastian really not have the final say? It sounded more like a polite brush-off.

"Everyone's here." A middle-aged man with a strong build approached. "Lucas, Sebastian. It's been a while."

Lucas smiled. "Mr. Connor, it's been a while."

Sebastian straightened his posture out of respect. This was no ordinary guest. Bill Connor was a key figure in the military—and also Brandon's father.

"And this young lady is?" Bill looked at Tiffany.

Tiffany replied with quiet confidence, "Hello, Mr. Connor. I'm Tiffany. I studied aerospace and just recently returned from Erana."

Brandon added, "Ms. Moore is a standout in the field. She did a combined master's and PhD at Valtech University. She's a rare female talent in this industry."

Tiffany gave a modest smile, poised as ever.
