A Cullinan was parked straight ahead, and standing next to it was Lucas.
Evelyn caught his eye immediately, but he was not surprised to see her. His indifferent gaze soon shifted to the person behind her.
As soon as Tiffany walked out and saw Lucas, her face lit up with a sweet smile. She walked right past Evelyn, heading straight to Lucas.
Sebastian frowned at the sight. "I was wondering why he was absent. He was waiting here for her from the start!"
They displayed such intimacy so openly. They should just be glued together already!
Evelyn adjusted her collar, acting like she did not notice them.
At the same time, Brandon walked out and saw Lucas and Tiffany. He walked over and greeted, "I didn't expect Mr. Grant to be here too."
His line of sight paused on Tiffany for a second, guessing that Lucas had to be here for her.
Tiffany smiled gently. "Lucas landed here yesterday for a meeting and will be here with me until the end of my trip."
Brandon was once again astonished by their relationship. The work-busy Lucas had cleared his schedule to be here. This showed just how much he loved Tiffany.
Their conversation was pleasant, but Evelyn did not pay attention to it. She took a look at her watch.
There were cars from the base to take them to the hotel.
Executives and engineers from various companies were already boarding them.
Just then, a coordinator came over and apologized. "One of our cars broke down on the way. We can't dispatch another one on time, and the cars here are already full."
Evelyn glanced over to the cars, thinking of hailing a cab instead.
The coordinator continued out of the blue, "Mr. Grant, would you mind giving Mr. Hill and this lady a ride?"
Tiffany's expression stiffened.
Only Lucas and Brandon drove a car here, but Brandon already had an extra passenger under his charge.
Evelyn furrowed her brow instinctively. Without needing Lucas to say anything, she said coldly, "No need. We'll make our own arrangements."
Only then did Tiffany glance at Evelyn.
Even Brandon found it absurd. Were they really supposed to let Evelyn ride in their car? It would be a disaster.
He chuckled and added fuel to the fire. "Whether Mr. Grant gives her a ride or not should depend on whether his girlfriend, Ms. Moore, agrees to it."
Hearing this, Tiffany raised a brow and smirked ever so slightly.
Sebastian's face darkened. Since when did the wife need the mistress's permission just to ride in her husband's car?
What a reversal of roles!
Lucas looked over, remaining calm and collected.
"I don't think we said we needed help," Evelyn said coldly. It was as if she was begging Lucas and Tiffany for it! They were being far too self-absorbed.
Brandon did not expect Evelyn to say that. Was this some kind of reverse psychology?
He observed Lucas subconsciously.
Thankfully, Lucas was not attracted by Evelyn's "aloofness".
