The Queen Returns—And She’s Unforgiving novel Chapter 250

On her way to look for Sebastian, Evelyn ran into Jason.

He looked at her and handed over a drink. "Are you looking for Mr. Hill?"

Evelyn glanced at the drink being offered. It was a cold day, so having a cup of chamomile tea was comforting. It seemed that the Millers had thoughtfully arranged everything.

She nodded and said, "Yes, thank you."

Jason had seen what had happened earlier between Evelyn and Zach.

After some serious thought, his eyes softened with sincerity. "I didn't understand Flying Seal Group's project well before, but I've recently reviewed your latest product. The quality is really impressive. If there's a chance, could we consider collaborating in the future?"

Evelyn was genuinely a little surprised. She hadn't expected Jason to approach her first, let alone extend an olive branch.

People in their industry had always believed it was inappropriate for her name to be on Flying Seal Group's project. Some even went as far as to question the company's qualifications.

"You really think so?" She paused, looking at him with suspicion.

Seeing her guarded and distant expression, he could only nod helplessly. "I believe in the Flying Seal Group's capabilities."

He also believed Evelyn hadn't done any of those so-called "shortcuts" or "backdoor" things people gossiped about. At the very least, her expertise and the feedback he had heard from a few people were all quite fair.

This time, Evelyn was genuinely surprised. She had thought Jason would naturally support Arrowpoint Solutions instead, since he was Lucas' best friend.

"If you're sincere, then Flying Seal Group would certainly welcome it."

Although she didn't know why Jason had chosen to bypass Arrowpoint, she would consider it if his offer was sincere.

If Flying Seal Group launched any follow-up projects, she would consider him under the right circumstances. She would consider it as cashing in on a favor.

Evelyn didn't think she knew Jason well. As such, after finishing the conversation, she gave a nod and walked away.

Jason stared after her for a long moment. Then, he turned to glance over at Tiffany's direction with a complicated look.

The Miller residence's garden was quite large.
