The Queen Returns—And She's Unforgiving novel Chapter 252

Harry walked over and gave Brandon a once-over. Then, he smiled, asking, "Since when do you enjoy arguing with women?"

Brandon choked on his words before he replied irritably, "Was that arguing? You saw it yourself—she's completely unreasonable. She does something wrong and still acts like she's in the right."

Harry raised a finely shaped brow. "Do you know her well?"

Brandon immediately fell silent. After thinking about it carefully, maybe he didn't know her well.

However, he still frowned and answered, "Whether we're close or not is beside the point. I caught her being a homewrecker. She looks like a decent lady, so why is her sense of morality so poor?"

"Let's not even talk about whether it's true," Harry mentioned with a faint smile after he stopped walking. "In the end, it's someone else's business. It has nothing to do with you, so why are you so bothered?"

Brandon found himself being interrupted. The question had only sunk in as he slowly furrowed.

Harry patted his shoulder. "Come on, let's head to the garden. My uncle's probably arriving soon."

Brandon finally frowned. His father would be attending today, too.

Good thing it was Harry who saw Brandon earlier. If Brandon's dad had caught him arguing with a woman, he'd probably get an earful from the older man.

When Evelyn arrived at the garden, dusk had already fallen. The courtyard lights were beginning to switch on one by one.

As soon as she arrived, Sebastian emerged from the crowd and walked over to her, saying, "A leader from the Military Commission just arrived."

Evelyn looked over in that direction.

Although he arrived in a low-key manner, the crowd's enthusiasm made it impossible to stay under the radar. People were already going up to greet him.

She knew who this person was. He was an exceptional leader who had once publicly commended her UN2 combat drone project.

Sebastian took Evelyn by the arm. "Let's go over and get to know him."
