Evelyn felt a slight throb in her temples.
She hadn't expected Lucas to make such a big move so soon, immediately targeting Flying Seal Group's tech team after their divorce. Even though people like Bailey were likely under non-compete agreements, it was clear that if Lucas truly wanted to poach someone, he wouldn't care about any compensation clauses.
"Could Lucas really be doing this on purpose?" Justine gritted her teeth. "I thought he might have a conscience after giving you the shares, but now, it looks like he's just playing the 'bait and switch' game!"
Flying Seal Group's last project had been a huge success. With Evelyn's name on the project, Lucas probably assumed she would continue to be involved in future ones.
And with Arrowpoint Solutions directly competing with Flying Seal Group, once the company was launched, a fierce battle for dominance was inevitable. Lucas had already begun laying the groundwork.
So, was the plan to weaken Flying Seal Group from the inside? To hinder their growth and make it harder for Evelyn to use the Flying Seal Group project as a way to turn things around for herself? Was this some form of post-divorce revenge?
Evelyn's chest tightened.
Flying Seal Group wasn't just her personal battlefield—it was the result of everyone's hard work. Lucas' calculated moves, especially in backing Tiffany and covertly contacting Flying Seal Group's employees for Arrowpoint Solutions, would only fuel Millie's and Tiffany's arrogance.
Even though Evelyn knew Lucas didn't care about the feud between the Reed and the Healy families and even though Tiffany was Millie's daughter, it still stung. She felt as though she had been slapped in the face.
Evelyn took a deep breath and quickly regained her composure. She turned to Sebastian, asking, "Who sent you that photo?"
If these people hadn't been caught on camera, they might have never realized what was happening.
Sebastian replied, "One of my juniors. He was assigned to the area, and by coincidence, he ran into them."
Evelyn's expression turned serious. "We need to deal with this. I'll talk to Bailey tomorrow."
Sebastian had no objections.
