Jason got the hint. "Nope. I'll leave you to it."

Evelyn stayed outside for a while longer. She actually enjoyed this solitude. As the night deepened, she finally got up, ready to head inside her tent. As she got up, footsteps sounded in the distance, accompanied by the faint glow of a flashlight.

A soft woman's voice, laced with a smile, carried through the air. "Is this your tent?"

Evelyn turned toward the voice.

Tiffany stood beside Lucas, his tall, broad-shouldered frame making her look even smaller. Before she could process it, Lucas stepped into the tent, and Tiffany followed right behind him.
