"Is that supposed to be a question?"
Without a doubt, Adam could sense the tension burning through her skin but that was just the beginning.
He was going to give Alexandra Guerrero a taste of her own medicine. She had played him for a fool, making him believe she was a delicate flower who couldn't hurt a fly. Like a fool, Adam had believed every word she said not knowing that in actuality Alexandra was nothing like he ever imagined.
She wasn't delicate although she appeared to be and she wasn't the flower he once knew. The innocent little girl who couldn't hurt a soul and had no brain to see right through his plan was dead and the woman who was staring down at him, tensed but yet alluringly beautiful was a fearless, two-faced snake who is capable of anything and Adam couldn't let her go on anymore.
While staring at her, Adam could see through decietful eyes of hers that walked up to him, making him believe she was going to let him be the Alpha only to turn around and humiliate him.
That was a blow to his face and a stigma which he couldn't forget so easily since she had knocked him out unconscious in the ring and humiliated him in front of the pack members who held him so high.
"Damn you Alexandra Guerrero" He thinks to himself, clenching his jaw, this was definitely the end and Adam had no intention of ruining his plan not when he was close to achieving his dream and finally taking her out of the picture.
"I'm sorry" He smiles widely but Alexandra could sense a dark aura behind that wicked smile he shot at her.
"Are you okay?" She asks
"Yes, why are you asking?"
"You seem off"
Adam exhales deeply, he didn't care if she saw right through him anymore since he already got what he wanted. Nathaniel was out of her life and Adam was sure he was already back at crimson, drowning in his shame.
"I don't think so"
"What tickles your fancy?"
"I'm just happy"
"Did you win a lottery?"
"No I won something bigger"
"What is it?"
"Take a wild guess, Alexandra"
"My brain is foggy right now so please don't make me pass through that torture"
"Right" Staring into Alexandra's eyes deeply, he runs his hand up and down his arms. "I'm just happy"
"Care to explain why?"
"Nothing, thank you Alexandra"
"For what?"
"You got rid of him" He smiles sinisterly creeping Alexandra out but she comports herself breathing out.
"It wouldn't have been possible without you" He runs his hand through his hair laughing so hard causing Alexandra to take a step backward.
"Why? Am I scaring you?"
Alexandra scoffs. "Of course not"
"Oh Alexandra" He looks up and down her body. "You did a good a job today and I would love to gift you but what can I get you for getting rid of him sooner than later"
