For a long moment, Alexandra couldn't get her feet to move, it was as though her world had fallen apart and everything has come crumbling down on her. Glancing towards the path which his feet has moved to, Alexandra wanted nothing more than to run towards him, with her feet jumping above the uneven ground as though she was been chased. But all that went down the drain when Adam closed in on her, his hot breath fanning the back of her neck, the tip of his pointed nose brushing against her hair causing her tense up.

Deep down, Alexandra hated the closeness, wanted nothing more than to push him so hard that he would bump his head against the giant tree behind him and never wake up. A sudden feeling engulfs her causing her saliva to cluster in her throat, a nauseous feeling hugs her and she quickly steps away from him, feeling disgusted.

Locking eyes with him, Alexandra hated the mere sight of him, there was nothing about him that would make her admire him let alone fall head over heels in love with him. Adam was everything she detested and avoided like a plague yet somewhere in her life, she had a past with him and that was something she couldn't erase so easily until she rains down hell upon his head.

Observing him while he gaped at her, Alexandra couldn't help but scold the silly little girl who had found him attractive enough to give up her position, sticking to just been her Luna. Something the woman she has become will never do, Alexandra trails eyes to his rough lips, she feels a strong urge to gag.

Adam wasn't ugly but he wasn't the male specimen that a beautiful woman like Alexandra would fall in love with since he wasn't remotely attractive. The only thing attractive about him was his hard chest, those muscular bicep, Alexandra admired in the past whenever he trained with the guards and Olivia drooled over like it was a piece of cake.

"What makes him attractive?" She roams her eyes around his body while he follows her with the trail of his eyes.

"What is it?"

"Nothing" Alexandra smiles, hating how she had fallen into his trap like a fool.

"How could I have not seen this was his plan all along?" She thinks to herself. "I was sure I had it all under control and everything was going smoothly so why couldn't I just see through his scheming eyes"

"So how do you feel?" Adam asks

Without a doubt, Alexandra knows exactly what he was trying to ask but she couldn't let him have his way, not after she had watched him humiliate Nathaniel and she couldn't do a thing about it.

"Feel about what?"

"Come on Alexandra you know what I'm talking about"

"I don't, what are you talking about Adam?"

"I'm talking about the Alpha"

Alexandra's heart skip, she had no idea why he brought up Nathaniel again after he just walked out of her life.

"What about him?"

Observing her intently, Adam could see right through her but he wouldn't dare let Alexandra know, it will ruin the plan he was so close in achieving.

"How do you feel about him?"

"He's gone now Adam, is just the both of us"

"I know Alexandra" He draws closer "I just want to know that you are alright"

"Why won't I be? Nathaniel means nothing to me, you mean a lot to me"

"Really?"

"Yea"

A mischievous smile plasters on Adams face, he runs his index finger on her face, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
