When the night was replaced by the crimson-grey day, the sweet melodies of the bird and the fragrance of blooming flowers filled the air as Nathaniel stepped out of the house. The sun casts brightly upon him causing his skin to glow signaling it was time to embrace his true self.
The lush green grass and fully blooming flowers invigorated his senses filling him with a sense of hope and renewal that he had stayed up all night thinking about. His plan was simple yet somewhere in his heart Nathaniel knew some of his pack members would be injured when they come to help Alexandra fight against Adam and Olivia.
Glancing towards the flowers, he attempts to go closer when the guard earlier approaches and he halts, masking his face with a stern yet stoic expression.
"Any problem?"
"No Alpha. Everyone waiting for you at the pack house"
"Let's go" He states leading the way and the guard trails behind him. Without having to glance back, Nathaniel knew he had his eyes fixed on him but he didn't mind. Although he would have scolded him in the past. He decided to leave it, saving Alexandra was far more important than talking to the guard whose name he doesn't know.
When they arrived at the council, the hall was already filled with the Beta, Gamma, and Omega standing with their families. That was what Nathaniel admired the most about the crimson pack, even though werewolves move in packs.
They also looked out for their families. They don't move away from their family to a different pack until they find their mate and the bond is sealed then they would move to their new pack while the other ones whose mate are in the pack remain and never leaves except there is a threat.
Seeing Nathaniel walk to stand in front of them, they quiet down aware that they had a lot to say otherwise they wouldn't be standing in the pack house at sunrise.
Glancing around, Nathaniel clears his throat, he was going to do it now or never.
"You may be wondering why I called for this meeting this early. Well it's simple, some of you are aware that I've found my mate"
The pack begins to whisper and Nathaniel pauses looking at them. They were aware of what he trying to imply. Nathaniel may not have known this but crimson pack was just like the Guerrero pack.
They love to gossip and keep track of their Alpha's life so when Adam started the rumor, everyone in the pack got to know about it but choose to keep quiet for fear that they don't aggravate Nathaniel.
But seeing him talking to them about a woman who was said to have dirty blood and was rumored to be weak and meeting with two strong Alpha, they had thought he was going to take another mate.
"Are you going to take another mate?" One of Beta asked
"No, I have a mate whose name is Alexandra Guerrero"
"Isn't that the woman with dirty blood?"
"Is she truly your mate?"
"Alexandra is my mate"
