"Get up boy"
"I can't"
"I said get up!" His wolf groans and he stands up.
"You will not give up, not when you have messed up, I won't let you do it"
"I failed to protect her"
"Well there's still time"
"There is none"
"Alexandra escaped which means she's up to something"
"What could it be?"
"That's for you to figure out boy"
"Should I go to her? I want to go to her"
"You better"
Nathaniel runs his hand through his sweaty face, feeling his wolf quiet down. It was mad at him as well, everyone would be for he had done something no Alpha would do to his mate.
"Damn you Nathaniel Starkov"
"You are a fool for letting anger get the best of you, you should have protected her. That way Alexandra wouldn't be disgusted at you"
"I need you Alexandra Guerrero, just hang on"
Staring into space, Nathaniel realizes that his wolf was right, he hurt Alexandra and he needed to make up for it.
"I'm going to go get my woman"
"I'm going to help you Alexandra"
"I will stay by your side and I would never let anything happen to you"
Standing up, he strides towards the door, walks out through the door stepped into the hallway. He was going to help her and wasn't going to wait for a second anymore.
Moving down the stairs, Nathaniel could sense Alexandra needed his help, despite how rough their relationship had been this couple of days, he could still trust the mate bond between them. It will lead him to her and with her scent, Nathaniel would track her down and help her take down those attempting to destroy her life.
"Please hang on, hang on Alexandra" Nathaniel climbs down the stairs, into the living room, and out the entrance door, he bumps into a guard.
"Alpha Nathaniel"
"Good a thing I saw you" Nathaniel breathes out
Seeing the look on Nathaniel's face, the guard could tell something was wrong but he wasn't sure. A lot has been happening in the pack but no one was certain what was going on since Nathaniel hadn't met with his pack ever since Alexandra arrived.
Her arrival had made him forget that he had a lot of things to do in the pack. Although Nathaniel didn't completely forget that he had a pack to lead, he couldn't leave Alexandra's side not when she was brutally wounded and wouldn't wake up.
Watching her while she was unconscious on that bed for days was devastating, it ripped him apart and made him not think clearly. No one knew what was happening except the pack doctor who wouldn't dare tell anyone since he was his close friend.
Even though she was his mate and he wasn't ashamed nor scared to shout out her name to the crimson pack. Nathaniel didn't want to scare Alexandra off when she woke up.
Spending time with her has made it able for him to know her better. She wasn't an open book but he has come to understand that Alexandra was complicated and would love to make her decision rather than let someone else make that choice for her.
"Are you alright Alpha?"
