"So they escaped" Adam's infectious grin widened. Despite Alexandra's earlier statement to him, Adam couldn't just let her go. He was going to go after her, that way he would have the chance of meeting Nathaniel again.
She had pointed that she didn't want his help which only made Adam suspect that she had always been aware that Nathaniel would come to her rescue.
Adam's grin turned sheepishly. How could she have pulled this off? Adam didn't want to think he was been played a fool. He stride further into the cell and there Olivia laid on the ground, knocked out. Adam scowled at the sight of her.
He had left Alexandra in her care with hope that he would return to meet her torturing Alexandra, that way she would give up the position willingly. But Olivia let her self be knocked out and he couldn't help but get mad at her.
Adam frowned glancing around, he didn't go wake her up. For a moment his head clouded and he wasn't sure. He shook his head and cleared his thought. Waking Olivia would ruin his plan and Adam would not let that happen again.
Alexandra escaped right under his nose just when he had thought he has captured her. Now it was pointless and he wouldn't become the Alpha if he doesn't get her back.
Where could she had run off to? How far could they have gone?
Adam couldn't believe Nathaniel and Alexandra were back together. When could they have gotten back together. Adam had put his plan together just to make sure he separated them but now they were back together. Although he didn't see Nathaniel, the hideous manner in which his guards were brutally wounded and some murdered had said it all. Just a single glance at those corpse confirmed his suspicion.
Only one man could do such damage to his guards and that man was Nathaniel. The man who he considers his rival and the current object of his wrath.
He should have killed him when he met him in the woods that day if he knew he would return just to take Alexandra away.
How could he have known she was held here? Could they have met? Adam chuckled, shaking his head and clearing his thought.
Looking up when he heard footsteps, a guard entered.
"So you are alive?" Adam grins. The grin of someone who is amazed to see some one alive. "At least he had the decency to keep one of you alive"
The guard arched up his brow at Adam and Adam widened his grin. The guard wad confused, perhaps Adam was still in shock over seeing the bodies lying around.
That was the first time in a long time, the Guerrero prison was turned into a blood bath with corpse lying around and blood on the ground.
"You are going to pay for this Nathaniel Starkov" Adam admits, livid over the current situation of his people. Unfortunately It wasn't that his heart was bitter over their demise rather it was the Alpha thing.
Nathaniel trampled on his ego, infiltrating his prison was one thing but killing his guards and taking Alexandra away, hurt him, it crushed his ego and thus challenged him into thinking that he was useless and Adam couldn't just accept that.
He wasn't the type to loose to anyone at least not when he had a million dubious plan lying in his head that he would use to his advantage to win against his enemies.
"Have you found anything?"
