When the news of their hideout reached Adam ear. He sets out with his men, heavily armed guards on foot circled him as though he was going to a war with a neighbouring pack who challenged his position.
Adam wanted one thing, to put an end to his long rivalry with Nathaniel and it was only going to end once one of them die.
Deep down he was sure who that one man would be. There was no way Nathaniel would fight against all his guards, he couldn't barely fight his way throughout especially now Adam was sure he was probably weak. Having fought a lot of guards just to take Alexandra away, Nathaniel was wounded, although he has healed him. He couldn't just be in his full strength.
Today dawned a perfect day and stayed that way. A good day to end it all. Adam decided, he needed to make his day certainly worth bargain he made.
He has never been confident as they marched to Nathaniel's secret hideout with Alexandra. He couldn't believe they would be stupid to stay within and not escape but that was to his advantage.
There was no way they would have gotten away far without him chasing them down. Nathaniel was waiting for nightfall’s, by then they would sneak out of the city. That is the plan or at least was since their hideout was already found out by Adam and In just in a moment. He would be staring down at them.
Adam grinned and shook his head. He cleared his thought. He needed to focus, now they were approaching. He could only imagine the look on their faces especially Alexandra once she sees him.
He came prepared, stealing the show was his motive and with the guards he brought with him. There was no way he wasn't going to steal the show.
"Sir, we are close" The guard earlier speaks up.
Locking eyes with the guard, Adam was already bored.
"Well step on it" Adam said.
He just wanted to appear next to them that very moment. If it was a movie, he wanted to fast forward it. The epic end was what he was now rooting for. This game of cat and mouse between him and Alexandra has stretched longer than he envisioned and now he has suddenly become bored.
The boredom drove him apart, it shook him, ripping apart every piece of him and he could only imagine what it did to her. Not that he cared about Alexandra, he only wanted to satisfy his Curiosity.
"Are we there yet?"
The guard points to a small an dilapidated house. "They are in there"
Adam scoffs, priding himself even better. He has known Alexandra for more than five years so it was only proper they have their final moment was best served in the most courteous manner he can be.
"How am I?" Adam asked the short guard standing next to him and they man, gawked at him stunned.
The short guard wasn't sure what his Alpha cared about the most anyone. Was it his looks? Or taking revenge against his fallen pack members?"
"What?" The short guard could only say and Adam responded. "How am I?"
"You… you look great" The short guard could only say the words trapped in his throat. While suppressing the urge to scream to his face "Go to hell"
"Lie" Adam admits, narrowing his eyes sharply sensing his insulting response anyway.
