Jason's POV.

I don't know exactly what is happening around me as I was stuck inside the cart, the chain bounded me giving me not a single chance to move an inch, the cart was going in different directions that I can't tell,

I wasn't even hearing what was going on outside due to the material used to build the cart, I sat still without any struggle, my mind was wandering in different thoughts,

My Dad is dead and his death was caused by Alpha Darren, I should be enraged and kill him too, that was what I was actually about to do but Elena changed it all, all my life, I had been under my father and he made me believe one thing, Mates are evil!

I had to hate love and act cruelly, many had died in my hand, I hate seeing people who found their mate because they act weak and soft, I had always dream to be like my father, ruling over the Red Moon Pack with an iron fist, killing my mate and being feared by everyone around me.

Never had I thought of this day when I will let the killer of my father live all because killing them would hurt my mate, I was all ready to wipe them out with a single blow not until she came with those teary eyes...

But then, how can I explain what happened,

It was all strange, I don't know who King Bane is neither do I know who got that voice that spoke to me, all I knew was the huge effect it had on me, the way the voice wiped out my anger and left me weak was what I can't stop wondering.

She told me the real enemy was Elf and not the Pack, Elf was the same woman who was Darren's mate that made my father turn into a beast,

The voice was different from that of Elena but yet the It made me feel the same way I feels for Elena, It was just so strange.

My head pounds heavily as I rest my head on the metal walls, It was hard to find myself here, it has been a while since I was bundled into this place yet nothing had happened, no one had come to bring me out or give me an idea of what is happening outside.

I refuse to use my powers to do anything, I won't want to hurt Elena the more, she is very angry with me at the moment and might get furious if I cause another damage.

I don't want to hurt her anymore.

Finally, the cart stopped once again and I heard footsteps for the first time,

The door was unlocked with a clanking sound and it made a creaky sound that made me sigh waiting to know what fate I got in the hand of the men, I can't tell how my powers got so great today but then I don't think I did it on my own,

I felt someone took over me and the only person I can lay hand on was the strange man; King Bane.

A bright light illuminated the cart and I was dragged out almost immediately not having the chance to catch a glimpse at whoever drew me out.

I fell to the ground and was dragged up like a pauper, the guards took me into the mansion,

As soon as we got into the hall, they pushed me to the ground like trash, I was angry at that but I was never going back at my promise to Elena,

I raised my gaze to them all then to the surroundings and found out we were in a different place, away from the Royal Packhouse which I knew, the first person I searched for was Elena but it seem I was never going to catch a glimpse of her because there was just no sign of her existence around.

I tried mind linking but it was never working, the tie had been severe, I can't tell how that was possible or who the hell did it.

I scanned around every faces staring at me and could see nothing but deep hatred in their eyes, the Alpha, his Beta, Gamma, head warriors and other survivors, all had no smile as they glare at me like their eyes were guns.

My eyes darted to Elf who stood beside Darren holding his hand gently making me sigh, she look innocent but evil inside

"Who gave you the powers of King Bane??..." The Beta was the first to throw the question, I couldn't reply as his question sounded weird to my ear,

"Where did you get those powers of the Dragon, King Bane has nothing to do with the Werewolf, tell us what connection you have with him??" Alpha Darren growled.

"Where is Elena?" I asked roaming my eyes around the new building,

Seeing her was the only thing my heart crave, I badly wants to see that beautiful face, enchanting smiles, dimples, unique eyes,

Oh Gosh, everything about her is what I desire.

"Are you mad?" The Gamma howled as they all sneered at me like I had grown horns.

" What happened to my daughter Scarlett, you and your father killed her! For what reason?"...." Elf asked with a crack tone of pretence and I felt nothing but anger grow in me.

She is the real enemy!!!

"So it was a trick all this while when you claimed to be my daughter's mate, you had the plan to kill her" Darren gruffed but I gave no reply.

"Do you know you are in our hands and we can kill you at will?" Darren added,

"I think we should kill him with Elena tomorrow, their body should be sacrificed to the moon goddess, we can't keep taking risk of allowing them to live!" The Beta gruffed,

"Where is Elena now?... I want to see her" I spoke out and a heavy punch landed on my face followed by a kick to my belly, the Alpha dragged me up and send two more punches to my face this time I felt like my nose broke due to the pain...

I felt blood flow down,

I was still trying to absorb the pain when a whip thrashed across my back sending excruciating pains all over me.

I shut my eyes and grunted In pain as the Alpha hit me,

"How dare you and your father kill my daughter! My only daughter!!!" He thundered and headbutt me, I became dizzy and landed heavily on my butt...

My headache, my back were sore, I felt the trickling down of blood from my back due to the whip lashed on it, the pain made me so weak,

"I let you all live because of Elena!!" I howled and they all pounced on me except Elf who sat still without moving, she only watched with a blank expression,

Elf's POV

I fixed my gaze at Jason and was more confused at who he is, everyone knew he was the son of Alpha Javier not until he showed his hybrid powers of the dragon,

The only man who got that power was King Bane, having both the Wolf and Dragon beast in a body, I wonder what connection he had with the man I love,

I couldn't hit him at this moment so he would tell me whatever he knows about Bane, at some point, it seemed he might be from the same clan with King Bane, how would I dare to hit him?
