Annoyed, Logan chided, “What the—” He then realized what he was about to say was inappropriate, so he quickly rephrased his words. “Why didn’t you go home if the meeting didn’t go well? Did you come all the way here just to look for me? Haha. You must be thinking that the meeting wasn’t fruitful because I wasn’t there.”

This shameless guy is as confident as always. With a frown, Lola refuted, “That’s totally not the case. It’s mainly because I’m not close to John, so he wasn’t ready to explain the matter to me.
