Fiona stared at Logan and nodded. “That’s good to hear.” Actually, Fiona was impressed by Logan. He was tall and sturdy, so she thought he’d win any fight he was in. If Lola does marry him, she’d be well protected. At that thought, she started looking at Logan in a loving manner, like a parent would to his or her child.
Meanwhile, Langdon had too much to drink last night, so he didn’t wake up that morning. After they had breakfast Fiona made, Lola and Logan were going to go back. Langdon was still sleeping, so Fiona heaved a sigh and sent them off. “Come over whenever you have time, Logan.” She looked at him fondly. “You’re always welcome here, so make yourself at home.”
Logan smiled. “I’ll take you up on that offer then, Mrs. Hunt.”
Fiona nodded, then she saw them off until the car was just a dot in the distance.
In the car, Lola stared at the rear-view mirror and noticed her mother kept looking at them. She clicked her tongue at that. “I don’t understand why my parents like you that much.”
Logan laughed. “Your parents have great taste. Why don’t you learn from them and date me?”
When Lola heard that, she only snorted, and Logan didn’t force her to make a choice. He liked to take it slow, and coercion was the worst strategy to take when it came to women like Lola.
He sent Lola back home before going to his club. When he came inside, he saw Lorraine coming down from the second floor, and he stopped humming. “What brings you here, Lorraine?” He quickly went up to her.
Logan’s appearance made Lorraine heave a sigh of relief. “Where were you, you brat? You didn’t even take my calls, and your employees said they don’t know where you are, so I went up to look for you. Your whole place is a mess, and I thought you’ve gotten yourself in trouble.”

The readers' comments on the novel: The Returning EX (John and Sophia)
So what happens to Ian and Cindy. Is she/ or does she get pregnant? Do they go back to the city and Ian works with Logan? Does Aurora stay in the entertainment industry or return with Ian? Terrible ending, who cares if Aurora was drinking/drunk with colleagues. What happened with Ian and Cindy?!...
Get rid of Gary. Apparently Cindy is too dumb to figure out his motives 😡...
Why are you trying to break them up when they just got together and are a loving couple. Let them stay close and move back to their true friends, Logan, Lola, John and Sophia!...
Sure hope Ian pulls his head out of his behind and works this out with Cindy. His brother needs him at the company and neither one of them truly like the celebrity life. Sophia and Lola will love her …....
I can’t wait for John to take down the Bailey’s including Isabelle so he, Sophia, William and Matilda can live in peace. Introduce Yolanda to Richard so they are out of the picture....
Ugh, don’t break up Sophia and John… they belong together and Sophia is just stubborn for no reason...
Sophia lives John, he just needs to tell her he loves her and get on with their life and family. Too much interference from others....
Sophia is so stupid....
John needs to man up, tell his mother and Isabelle to take a flying leap and confess to Sophia that he made a horrible mistake in divorcing her. This story is taking too long and once again, the bitches are looking like they are on the right side. Awful...
