Naomi turned to look at Cindy. “Is this how you usually take care of Ian? He’s so lucky. Both of you are happy in your relationship. Oh, I’m dying of envy right now.”
Cindy set the tableware. “Why are you bringing him up again? If you keep this up, I’m going to think that you have a crush on him.”
“Hey, don’t think that,” Naomi hastily said. “I don’t dare to have a crush on him, nope. No cheating with my friends’ partners. I won’t take your things for myself.” She then got off the bed while grinning. “Besides, even if I have my eye on your man, Ian won’t necessarily like me. Look at him, announcing who you are while his career is still on the rise. It’s clear as day just how deep his feelings for you are—he even tossed his career to the back of his mind.”
Cindy didn’t answer, though. Naomi walked over to the bathroom, never once letting herself go quiet. “Cindy, I’m being honest here. I’m not talking smack about Ian. It’s just that all the facts have been laid out. The entertainment industry is a messy place, and there are hordes and hordes of pretty ladies out there. It’s hard to stop him from working with any of them. As time goes on and he spends time with them, his heart could change. So, you should hurry up and clarify and secure things with him while he still only has eyes for you, got it?”
Cindy chuckled. “Fine, fine, I get what you mean. Don’t worry, I have my own plans.”
What did Naomi mean by securing things with him? There was nothing between Cindy and Ian that needed clarifying or securing.
Cindy’s relationship with Ian was a business one, but she had to admit that the entertainment industry had no shortage of beautiful women. Ian was about to go to a film site to shoot a TV drama, and he would be acting alongside popular young ladies. These women had it all, be it fame, acting chops, or looks. If Cindy had to be honest with herself, it was understandable if sparks began to fly between Ian and his co-stars after spending some time together.
She just didn’t know how Ian would placate the masses then.
Naomi ate breakfast with Cindy. Then, she looked at the time. “I have to go see my client now, my lovely. Do you want to wait for me here, or do you want to come with me and take a stroll nearby?”
Cindy actually didn’t have any place in mind, but it was indeed boring to be at the hotel alone. So, she changed her clothes. “I’ll go with you.”
After the both of them had made their preparations, they went out of the hotel and flagged down a taxi.
The taxi stopped outside the entrance to the company building where Naomi’s client was, and Cindy got out of the car. “I’ll take a walk around the area. Call me when you’re done, and I’ll come back to find you.”
Naomi agreed. After waving at Cindy, she strode into the building.
Meanwhile, Cindy stood by the entrance, staring at the doors for a long while before she finally turned and headed to the side. She had no destination in mind, so all she did was stroll casually.
A fair bit of time flew by just like that. Cindy turned and surveyed her surroundings. She had no idea where she had walked off to, but at any rate, there was a park to her right, so she walked over there and sat down on a bench she found.
The weather was nice today, and the sun was gentle.
Cindy reclined on the bench and slowly lifted her head to bask in the sun’s rays.
About five minutes later, she suddenly heard someone call her. “Selby.”
Cindy stiffened. No one had called her just ‘Selby’ before.
She quickly turned and looked in the direction of the caller before standing up. “Miss Noble, I hadn’t thought that I would run into you.”
The newcomer here was Yulia Noble. She had a camera in her hands, so she was probably here to take some photos in the park.
Yulia studied Cindy. “You’re here alone?”
Cindy made a sound and nodded. “Ian has work. I came out alone to clear my mind.”
Yulia nodded. “I remember that he has a shoot today.”
Cindy raised an eyebrow. “You know Ian’s schedule very well,” she promptly stated.
Yulia made a sound of affirmation. “When his managers were negotiating the filming times, I looked over his schedule. That’s how I remembered.”
Cindy was a little taken aback. She hadn’t thought that Hannah would show Ian’s schedule to Yulia.
Didn’t it mean that those two were close?

So what happens to Ian and Cindy. Is she/ or does she get pregnant? Do they go back to the city and Ian works with Logan? Does Aurora stay in the entertainment industry or return with Ian? Terrible ending, who cares if Aurora was drinking/drunk with colleagues. What happened with Ian and Cindy?!...
Get rid of Gary. Apparently Cindy is too dumb to figure out his motives 😡...
Why are you trying to break them up when they just got together and are a loving couple. Let them stay close and move back to their true friends, Logan, Lola, John and Sophia!...
Sure hope Ian pulls his head out of his behind and works this out with Cindy. His brother needs him at the company and neither one of them truly like the celebrity life. Sophia and Lola will love her …....
I can’t wait for John to take down the Bailey’s including Isabelle so he, Sophia, William and Matilda can live in peace. Introduce Yolanda to Richard so they are out of the picture....
Ugh, don’t break up Sophia and John… they belong together and Sophia is just stubborn for no reason...
Sophia lives John, he just needs to tell her he loves her and get on with their life and family. Too much interference from others....
Sophia is so stupid....
John needs to man up, tell his mother and Isabelle to take a flying leap and confess to Sophia that he made a horrible mistake in divorcing her. This story is taking too long and once again, the bitches are looking like they are on the right side. Awful...
