The Returning EX (John and Sophia) novel Chapter 1881

Chapter 1881 Play

Ian wasn’t in a hurry to snatch the phone. Instead, he lowered his head and kissed Cindy.

She struggled a little at first, but noticing that Ian didn’t tickle her or try to get the phone, she relaxed her muscles. Ian’s hand trailed along Cindy’s waist and inched closer to her back.

Then, he successfully removed Cindy’s phone from her hand. Cindy knew Ian’s tricks, but she really had nothing to hide on the phone itself, so she didn’t stop him.

After taking out the phone, Ian didn’t even look at it as he tossed it aside. There was something more important he had to do. Cindy gave a muffled chuckle as she reached out and wrapped her arms around Ian’s neck.

Ian’s lips grazed against the corner of her mouth. “You’re getting bolder these days, hiding things from me and whatnot.”

Cindy grinned as she nodded. “Yes, I’m getting bolder nowadays. What are you going to do about it?”

Ian still had one hand placed under Cindy’s waist. He sat up and pulled Cindy along with him, so they were both in a sitting position again.

Then, Ian bent over and carried Cindy in his arms. From the looks of it, he meant to get back into the room. Ian talked as he walked. “What am I going to do about it? I’ll show you what.”

Cindy wasn’t foreign to what might come next, as they were, after all, deeply in love. Ian was wild in bed, but he never really hurt her.

Cindy was even swinging her legs as she kept her arms around Ian’s neck, carefree as a bird. “Sure, sure. I’ll hold a grudge if you don’t.”

Hearing that, Ian burst into laughter. “All right, then. You’re really getting bolder now, but you’ll cry later.”

Ian wasn’t lying; Cindy really cried in the end. She reached up and landed punches on Ian’s shoulder as she sobbed, “You fiend! You really didn’t hold back.”

Ian kept his face buried near Cindy’s collarbone, his voice muffled. “Weren’t you so bold just now? Where did all that energy go?”

Cindy pouted. She felt like she had died once and came back alive. Ian wasn’t done, however. After a short rest, he resumed his task.

His words were relentless as well. “Let’s see how bold you are next time. You dare question me about these things? You think I’d let you off the hook?”

Cindy pinched Ian’s arm, unable to mutter any words of protest. It was actually quite early, and it wasn’t time to sleep yet. However, with Ian’s rigorous activities, Cindy’s mind was already a confusing mess by the time they were done.

She only knew that Ian finally let go of her, and she managed to survive. Before she could clear her mind, she went straight to sleep. Ian lay and rested on the bed for a long while, then got out and walked to the bathroom. He turned on the tap and proceeded to clean himself. When he was done, he returned to the room and carried Cindy in.

Cindy was probably too tired, for she didn’t show any reaction throughout the whole bathing process. Ian gazed at the marks on Cindy’s skin, feeling regret and pity for her, but he also found it a little funny on the side.

Cindy didn’t wait long before begging him to spare her, and she was so quick to let go of her defiant attitude. Still, he quite liked how she begged him. She was so soft and tender, with her watery eyes gazing at him.

Every time this happened, Ian would feel that he was particularly evil. However, he had no choice. The more Cindy showed this side of her, the more he wanted to ravage her.

After bathing Cindy, Ian put some clothes on her, then the two finally lay down and rested for real. Ian was still awake, but drowsiness was overtaking him.

He pulled Cindy into his embrace and watched Cindy’s face for a good long while. He had actually noticed the wariness and tentativeness on Cindy’s face whenever there was any mention of Yulia.
