Ian thought for a bit, then hummed. "I guess so. Even though I haven't experienced it yet, just imagining it makes me feel like it's an experience incomparable to any other."

There was an awed tone in the driver's voice. "I kid you not. There's no other thing in your life that brings you the same feeling."

His face was filled with gentleness as he continued, "When my daughter was born, she was just a tiny bean. You know me, and you know I've always been like this, but back then, I just burst out crying in front of the delivery room.
