When Sophia returned, Old Mr. Bailey instantly checked behind her.
Sophia knew who he was looking for and informed him, “Miss Bailey is in the washroom. She said that she felt sick.”
Old Mr. Bailey shot up. “Sick?”
Sophia elaborated without missing a beat, “It’s probably because the dining room was filled with smoke. I saw her breathing in and out in the washroom, looking a little pale.”
Smoke? Indeed, someone was smoking in the dining room. It was not unusual for guests to smoke in a business meeting.
If Isabelle could not even stand the smoke… William frowned because he had been smoking.
Of course, Old Mr. Bailey would not trust Sophia’s words, but he believed that Isabelle had all the reason to feel sick. The sight of John and Sophia acting lovey-dovey was enough to upset her.
He stood up and commented, “Dad, I’ll check on her.”
Elder Mr. Bailey quickly nodded at his son. “Go.”
The moment old Mr. Bailey was gone, Sophia leaned into her seat with a huge smile.
John did not bother to read and decipher the situation. He did not have breakfast, and on top of that, he was exhausted from last night. At that moment, his only thought was to fill his stomach before anything else.
Old Mr. Bailey came back after some time with his daughter trotting behind, and both looked normal.
Isabelle entered the room and apologized to everyone, explaining that she had suffered from indigestion after taking in some food, which was why she had to take a rest away from the company. She urged everyone to continue their meals without worrying about her.
Not only that, she specifically addressed William and highlighted that she was feeling fine. Even so, William knew that he could not smoke anymore.
The thought of William giving smoking a second thought whenever Isabelle was with them tickled Sophia. She immediately felt that everything had fallen into place.

So what happens to Ian and Cindy. Is she/ or does she get pregnant? Do they go back to the city and Ian works with Logan? Does Aurora stay in the entertainment industry or return with Ian? Terrible ending, who cares if Aurora was drinking/drunk with colleagues. What happened with Ian and Cindy?!...
Get rid of Gary. Apparently Cindy is too dumb to figure out his motives 😡...
Why are you trying to break them up when they just got together and are a loving couple. Let them stay close and move back to their true friends, Logan, Lola, John and Sophia!...
Sure hope Ian pulls his head out of his behind and works this out with Cindy. His brother needs him at the company and neither one of them truly like the celebrity life. Sophia and Lola will love her …....
I can’t wait for John to take down the Bailey’s including Isabelle so he, Sophia, William and Matilda can live in peace. Introduce Yolanda to Richard so they are out of the picture....
Ugh, don’t break up Sophia and John… they belong together and Sophia is just stubborn for no reason...
Sophia lives John, he just needs to tell her he loves her and get on with their life and family. Too much interference from others....
Sophia is so stupid....
John needs to man up, tell his mother and Isabelle to take a flying leap and confess to Sophia that he made a horrible mistake in divorcing her. This story is taking too long and once again, the bitches are looking like they are on the right side. Awful...
