Chuckling, John said, “I heard that Miss Hunt’s gym is pretty popular now. Many of her former colleagues are regular customers as well.”

At the mention of this, Logan snorted. “Who cares about those brainless people?” Certainly, Logan would never forget how those police officers treated him before. Although Lola was the most hostile among them, the other officers were not kind to Logan as well.

Hearing this, John persuaded him by saying, “Actually, you can try to get along with them. They don’t mean to pick on you, so you don’t have to be resentful of them. As a businessman, it is crucial for you to be on good terms with the police.”
