Chapter 466 

Madelyn was not the only one who had gone crazy. First, Zach gave her a simple first aid. The cuts were shallow, and the scissor was sterilized every day. So, there was no need for a tetanus shot. 

“Are you feeling better?” Zach asked. 

Blood splatted on Madelyn’s skirt. Due to the blood loss, her face was pale. Madelyn lowered her head and did not speak. 

Zach swept her hair to the back of her ear and said, “I’ll make breakfast for you. What do you want to eat?” 

“Leave,” Madelyn said. 

“Then I’ll make pasta,” Zach answered. He was only proficient in making pasta. Both of them kept quiet as if nothing had happened before. 

Zach cooked chicken pesto pasta and brought it to the table. He then grabbed a tiny bowl, put some pasta in it, poured some sauce, and gave it to her. The sauce overflowed and spilled onto the table. He then called for Madelyn, “Come and eat.” 

Madelyn stopped in her tracks. The leg that was about to step onto the stairs retracted. She was then pulled back to the same position by Zach. Some utensils were then placed in her hands, but she tossed them before him. She even smashed the bowl. The sauces spilled all over the floor. She said, “Don’t you see? I’ve become like this all because of you! 

“As long as you leave me alone, I won’t be reminded of all this pain and won’t even hurt myself. Leave! I beg of you!” Madelyn 

pleaded. 

Zach did not get angry but rather patiently cleaned up the mess. He even cut his finger with the broken pieces. When he raised his head to look at her, Madelyn took a few steps back in fear as if Zach was about to do something to her. 

“I’ll leave once you finish eating,” Zach said. He then pushed his bowl towards her. After sweeping all the rubbish, he went to the door to smoke a cigarette. 

It was six in the morning, and the smell of flowers and earth wafted through the air. Kai leaned on his bed and stared at the woman picking up the clothes next to him. She then went to the bathroom without saying a word. At the same time, a call 

attracted his attention. 

Kai picked up the call, “What’s wrong? Something happened to Madelyn?” 

Only when she was in trouble would he get Zach’s call. Kai gave a devilish smile and got out of bed to wear his bathrobe. He stood by the window and wanted to smoke a cigarette but remembered that a certain woman had thrown them away. 

“What’s wrong? I’m very busy now,” Kai said. 

“Help me find the best psychiatrist,” Zach ordered. 

While facing the sun, Kai scratched his head and replied, “Even if you found the best psychiatrist, it would be useless if the patient isn’t willing to accept treatment. 

“The treatment process has the patient express their pain, and then the therapist will guide and help resolve them. This is a very long process. How effective it is would depend on Madelyn herself. However, I think you know she became like this all because of you. If you want her to heal, why don’t you just let her be with Ethan? She might recover without treatment, and her condition would naturally heal,” Just as he finished his sentence, the phone call hung up. 

‘Did he get angry?‘ Kai thought. He chuckled and thought Zach had indeed fallen hard this time. 

‘How interesting!‘ Kai thought to himself. Lana heard him taking a call from the bathroom. After hesitating for a moment, she walked out thoroughly dressed. Seeing that she was about to leave, Kai went over and pulled her back. He embraced her from behind while smelling her. There was a smell that he liked, so he hooked a strand of her hair and took a whiff before saying, ” Lana… you can look for me anytime if you have any needs.” 

“Don’t push it. There will never be a next time,” Lana said. 

“You were sent to my bed by my brother, or have you forgotten about it, Lana?” Kai reminded her.
