The runaway groom novel (Irene and Isaac) novel Chapter 605

Chapter 605

Ember gasped in surprise. "Are they here to save her?"

Winston was getting nervous-he could see at one glance that there were a lot of people below, whereas he and Ember were just two, not to mention that Ember was a woman.

In fact, they would never win even if she was a man-not when they have them outnumbered ten to one!

"What should we do?"

Ember started to panic, but Winston was no better!

Eventually, he asked, "Why don't we just bolt?"

Ember was certainly reluctant. "We haven't gotten our money!"

"Which do you think is more important, the money or staying alive?" the man asked in return.

Ember thought about it briefly and soon replied, "Staying alive."

What good was money when she was not alive to spend it?

"That's right-there will be opportunities as long as you stay alive," Winston said as he pulled her along, leaping out of the hole that was supposed to be a window and onto the scaffolding, where they climbed down and fled into the bushes.

"They must have noticed US and bolted," Zachary said flatly.

"Do we go after them, sir?" one of Isaac's henchmen asked.

"No," Isaac replied-they were enemies of Debbie, not his.

Moreover, what they were doing was exactly what he had in mind, albeit far less savage!

Still, Isaac asked Zachary about it since Ember was involved.

Zachary shrugged-he had already cut all ties with her. "It's not an issue. We're divorced, and what she wants is her business."

With that, Isaac strode toward Debbie, who was puzzled as to why those two had bolted.

Naturally, she understood once Isaac showed up.

"Help me, Isaac!"
