"Interesting... I must check it around."
Austin circled around the withered tree trunk and approached its root.
Soon enough, he found a hazy space that was somewhat hidden to the naked eye.
The thick withered old trunk extended even further than he had initially thought.
Austin checked around, aiming to find out where the trunk would lead to.
Just then, there was suddenly a loud noise coming from the entrance of the world he had just left.
A large number of furious creatures appeared. Their eyes were bulging out from their scowling faces. They were searching for Austin.
"Austin might have already left this world."
"That little bastard is too cunning, plus he's very proficient in the law of illusion. It might be difficult for us to find him!" one of them growled.
"Humph!
Where ever he may have gone, we must find him and settle the grudge between us once and for all!"
All the creatures released their spiritual sense and scanned every corner in the distance in search of Austin.
"It has been almost three months since we entered the Land of Outlaw.
I'd wager that it would probably shift to another place three months after we have entered. When that happens, no one would have any idea where it would go.
Therefore, we must leave the Land of Outlaw and return to the Sea of Chaos within that duration, precisely on the last day.
We must leave no later than that, otherwise, we might be trapped in this place forever,"
a genuine premium-grade divine god stated.
"Yes, the period of three months will soon finish.
We must leave this place in four or five days."
All the other premium-grade divine gods nodded in agreement.
Every creature had been informed of this before they entered the Land of Outlaw.
At that moment, all the creatures sank in silence, contemplating the situation.
The three months' search for treasures was about to come to an end.
Everyone was reluctant to leave as their deep-seated greediness urged them to find more.
Although there was no denying that each of them had gained a lot in the past three months, they still wanted more.
"Well then, we have no choice but to go ahead.
We have only four or five days remaining. We must go deeper into the Land of Outlaw and make a thorough exploration of this place.
We must find more treasures before we leave!"
"Yes, the last few days are very precious. We can't waste them."
After a moment of silence, the people of all the forces started to leave, one after another.
Meanwhile, Austin was walking along the thick dry trunk
and none of these people were aware of it.
"Master, there are just a few days left. We have been in the Land of Outlaw for nearly three months.
We must leave this place on the last day of the three-month period.
Once the position of the Land of Outlaw changes and this region moves to some other unknown space, it will be difficult for us to find a way back to the Sea of Chaos."
Wilfred's voice called out to Austin in his Soul Sea.
"Yes, I know.
We will leave as soon as the time is up,"
Austin replied with a nod.
He then walked more hastily and rushed forward along the old dry trunk.
He wasn't certain how far he had advanced.
Finally, he saw something different ahead.
His eyes immediately lit up from what he saw.
In front of him was a void filled with gray chaotic energy. The void seemed vast and boundless.
To his surprise, there was a huge tree standing in this vast void.
The tree stood tall.
It looked old and withered.
Its bark was wrinkled with cracks. Its appearance showed signs that it was dying.
The tree stood there like an old man who was struggling with all his fragile might in the last days of his life.
It had thousands of branches that extended in all directions. Each branch extended far away and entered the void that Austin's eyes could not see, disappearing in those unseen voids.
"It is indeed the chaotic world tree.
But it seems so old.
It looks like an old man who cannot walk anymore."
Austin could not help but feel a little forlorn when he sensed the rotten aura from the tree.
"What?"
