"I can see it! We're almost at the three thousand big and small universes!"
"Oh, thank goodness! I'm so glad we finally got rid of Ronnie. We've been journeying for a while, and now, we've made it here."
"Yeah. I hope we can be safe in this place."
When the blue airship came to a stop, all the members of the mermaid race felt anxious and excited.
After all, they had worn themselves out trying to run and hide away from Ronnie. They had even traveled almost every corner of the Sea of Chaos for a while just to escape dangers. Now that they were out of harm's way, they came to this place to seek refuge.
It had only been a few days since they steered clear of Ronnie, but the peace and quiet during their trip to the three thousand big and small universes had brought them a sense of relief.
"Ah, the legend's true.
This place is under the protection of a large array.
Outsiders like us aren't allowed to come in and out freely.
It seems we have to ask for permission first so we can enter."
When everyone released their spiritual senses to inspect the situation in the three thousand big and small universes, they all took notice of the Grand Geomancy Array.
"Whoa. This array is so powerful.
Even I can't enter! I would try using force but I believe I still wouldn't be able to break it!"
Elmer blurted out.
He was surprised to see how impressive the array was. After all, he was a semi-governing god.
If he couldn't squeeze his spiritual sense through the array, then this could only mean that it was absolutely powerful.
Slowly, the blue airship kept moving forward until it reached the edge of the Grand Geomancy Array.
"Who are you?
Stop right now!
You are not allowed to enter the three thousand big and small universes without permission!" a voice yelled from the Grand Geomancy Array.
Without delay, more than a dozen divine gods flew out and stood guard on the void as they faced the blue airship from afar.
Among them were both genuine and ordinary divine gods—all of which were Austin's slaves.
Not long ago, Kevin divided some of Austin's slaves into smaller teams with a dozen members each. He assigned some of these teams by the array, so they were the ones responsible for guarding and patrolling it.
Heeding the warning, Elmer led his people outside their airship. With his hands raised in front of his body, he greeted the divine gods, saying, "We are the members of the mermaid race. I apologize for paying you a surprise visit."
"What did he say?
They're from the mermaid race?" the divine gods asked each other with furrowed brows.
"Um. Ahem. Here's the thing. An enemy is chasing us and we've been trying to escape from him for a while.
We have nowhere left to go, so we're wondering if we could enter the three thousand big and small universes and find a place to live here,"
Elmer explained with a nervous smile, trying to express every word with respect.
