"The nine-tailed demon foxes once lived in the Heaven Beast Valley,"
Elmer said.
"Really, sir?"
Violet asked anxiously, overjoyed.
Violet scoured every corner of the known worlds and universes looking for her own kind. From the Prime Martial World, the Immortal End World, the three thousand big and small universes to the vast Sea of Chaos, she never gave up.
Yet her efforts were for naught as she had so far failed to catch even a whiff of her kind.
But when Elmer told her what he knew, a new found hope lit up inside of her heart.
"It's true.
There was a time when the nine-tailed demon fox race was the most powerful race in the Heaven Beast Valley.
Their chief was even the leader of the valley,"
Elmer continued.
"So, are they still in the Heaven Beast Valley?"
Violet asked hurriedly.
"No, they are not there."
Elmer shook his head.
"Well then, why did they leave? Where did they go?"
Violet asked anxiously.
"They disappeared.
Like I said, the chief of the nine-tailed demon fox race was in charge of the Heaven Beast Valley.
Later, a python in the Heaven Beast Valley developed into a governing god. With the support of the whole demon snake race he declared war on the nine-tailed demon fox race.
They fought a long, gruesome battle, but in the end the python came out on top.
That's when all the nine-tailed demon foxes went missing. No one has seen them ever since their crushing defeat.
But there are two theories on where they went.
One is that the chief of the nine-tailed demon fox race left the Heaven Beast Valley and found a new place to settle down with his people.
The other is that each and every one of their member was killed in the war,"
Elmer replied.
"How can this be?"
Violet was filled with anger and frustration as soon as she heard Elmer's words.
"The demon snake race is such a pain in the ass!"
Violet gritted her teeth and arched her eyebrows.
"I guess only the high-ranking figures of the demon snake race know what really happened to the nine-tailed demon fox race,"
Elmer added.
"Then I'll make them tell me the truth!"
Violet said in a decisive tone.
She finally had a lead on where her people might be. There was no way she was going to let this go.
Austin felt the resolve in Violet's voice.
"Don't worry, Violet. I'll go with you.
We must find the senior leaders of the demon snake race and ask them what had happened to your kind,"
Austin said to Violet.
He knew that he had to look out for her safety. He cared too much for her that he couldn't even fathom losing her.
She meant a lot to Austin.
He would do anything to help her realize her goal of reuniting with her own kind.
"The chief of the demon snake race has the strength of a governing god. He is a formidable foe,"
Elmer reminded the two.
"It's okay. Even if the Heaven Beast Valley is full of dangers, I will explore it.
But we have to wait until you become a divine god. Only then will we set off for the Heaven Beast Valley,"
Austin said.
Violet was already very close to making a breakthrough, so he wanted her to successfully reach a higher vital energy realm first.
"Yes, master.
I'll cultivate in seclusion and try to become a divine god as soon as possible." Violet nodded at Austin.
Without wasting any more time, she returned to her cultivation room.
"Since you have made up your mind to go there, I'll go with you.
I'm very familiar with the Heaven Beast Valley. I can help you,"
Elmer said to Austin.
