“Sorry, Mr. Townsend. Noelle isn’t free to answer your call now.” Hendrix 

ved away from Noelle’s skirt. 

At that moment, Hendrix was using one hand to undo his belt. He held the phone with his other hand while talking to Clark “But don’t worry. She’s doing quite well now.” 

While speaking, Hendrix’s gaze was fixed on Noelle the whole time. After letting out the scream earlier, she seemed to have completely given up on struggling. She merely stared at the top of the car in a daze. 

Noelle didn’t even respond to Hendrix’s glance. She seemed not to have heard Clark’s reply. 

After speaking to Clark, Hendrix had actually ended the callright away. He did not hesitate to press himself on Noelle.

mouth. 

The car interior seemed to shake more violently. 

Noelle felt as if she couldn’t breathe, but her mind hadn’t gone completely blank yet. As Hendrix moved away from her lips and started trailing kisses down her neck, she couldn’t help but ask, “Hendrix, aren’t you disgusted? 

Her words did make Hendrix pause. He let out a chuckle afterward. “I don’t find you disgusting, yet you find yourself repulsive?” 

He thought she was referring to what he did earlier. As soon as he met her gaze, the smirk on his lips faded away immediately. He then gripped her hand again. “So what?” 

“Didn’t you say this earlier, Mr. Freeman? The deal is over. Noelle looked at him. “For someone as outstanding as you, I’m sure you can find someone who can let you have your way. Why must you entangle yourself with me?” 

Their bodies were still tightly pressed against each other. They could even clearly feel each other’s warmth. However, Hendrix suddenly found himself calming down very quickly. 

After staring at Noelle for a moment, he straightened himself right away. Things had been getting heated in the car earlier, yet the temperature seemed to have dropped to zero now. 

Noelle despised his touch earlier, but she had no idea why she couldn’t help but shiver when he moved away from her. Afterward, slie felt oddly cold. 

“Does that mean you really don’t care about your mother’s life?” Hendrix’s voice drifted into her ears.

“She’s the only one left in this world who loves me,” Noelle sald instead. “So, I believe she doesn’t want me to use this method in exchange for her life.”
