Within that night, Hendrix had lost his composure and self control completely.
As for Noelle, she did not even stay back. She got out of the car with her arms folded and did not even adjust her disheveled clothes.
Once the car door was shut, Hendrix stepped on the gas right away. The black Maserati disappeared into the night very quickly.
In fact, Noelle also knew that it might truly be their last time meeting each other.
Hendrix returned to Nivis Villa directly. He hadn’t been back there for a long time. Over the past two months, he had gotten used to living at Percy Gardens, even though Nolle didn’t drop by.
Of course, Mabel was happy at his sudden return. “Have you eaten? Shall I help you…”
“No need,” Hendrix answered quickly while striding forward. Once he reached upstairs, he realized that the door to the room at the end of the corridor was actually open.
That used to be Noelle’s bedroom.

“Ms. Swanson dropped by today. She said it wasn’t right for that room to remain closed all the time, so she and a few others tidied it up. She also took her jewelry and clothes with her.”
As soon as Mabel finished speaking, Hendrix headed for the room immediately. Everything inside was indeed cleared out.
The bed was still the same, though clean sheets had been laid over it. The room didn’t seem any different from the other guest rooms in the house. It was as if no one had ever stayed there before.
Hendrix pursed his lips tightly.
At that moment, his phone buzzed twice. It was a message from Yvonne.
“Mr. Freeman, I know you’re not interested in me, but I still have to try my luck. Would you like to have dinner with me tomorrow?”
Hendrix gazed at the text on the screen before looking at the room before him. He replied, “Sure.”
Time flew by fast. After one month of drizzling, Coppersville officially welcomed winter.
Hendrix did not return to Percy Gardens again, yet he did not dismiss the medical team from the hospital as well. He also had no idea why.
Regardless of his reason, the medical team was not important to him. It wasn’t worth keeping it in mind.
As for Noelle, Hendrix did not contact her again. She seemed to have disappeared from his life.

Woah chapters 41-45 is intense!! Good to see Noelle’s character who has come across as mostly detached actually express emotion....
I find Noelle’s character so frustrating, she comes across lacking any true emotion. The chapters where Rosie was missing was probably the most where we have seen some strong outward emotion shown. Dreading these next few chapters if she is going to do something drastic to “go find Seline” The author has taken us on a rollercoaster with these characters. The novel feels like it is at a stage now where they can come full circle....
A good change of pace and story in the last 10 chapters. Good to see the shift in Hendrix’s character (more patience) to win over Noelle and Rosie. Hope we start to see them warm up to him. Please no crazy twist where he loses them again. Have enjoyed this story and looking forward to its wrap up👨👩👧...

I have been in love with this novel but I don’t know how much patience I have to wait until the to finish line. Dear Author, can you atleast give us some idea about how long is this going to be or if there’s any turning point coming soon. And it would be great if you could upload at least 10 chapters at once. 5 chapters is making me more impatience with the anticipation of the further story of novel🙈...
I really hope there is a turning point in this story where Noelle starts to show some interest in Hendrix...
